"Here it is. Biodegradable motor oil made from cow fat. Seriously?! We wonder if it really makes your car moooooove... " Check out more of this bizarre story I found this morning here...

Yet another human idea to EXPLOIT ANIMALS, as if we didnīt have enough animal exploitation.

Despicable. BIG thumbs down to this dumb idea which would promote killing cows on a much bigger scale, and another big thumbs down to White Apricot, the website where this appears, for their bad-taste joke about cow liposuction.

Really going in the wrong direction here! The idea of creating alternative energy is to reduce environmental waste and green house gasses. Considering that in one day, a cow can emit ― pound of methane into the air, the last thing we need to do is increase these emmissions.
The cattle and meat industry in general is a cruel industry and one which wastes huge expanses of land that could be producing more useful crops.
Evolution is a slow process - obviously we are still using only a very tiny portion of the brain.

You gotta be kidding me!!!
Well, since we're talking liposuction - why not use people fat then??
Work with the Cosmetic clinics that do liposuction.

Not even remotely interested in doing this - we need to STOP slaughtrering cattle, not do it more! (And yes, I say that as someone struggling with carnivorism, i.e. I'm a MEAT-EATER trying to go on the vegan wagon.)

Hate to say it (and yes, it was a joke but in poor taste) but fat is a by-product of the beef/meat industry. All that fat cut off of those steaks. This is a way to make sure that it does not have to be thrown out. Animal by-products including fat are not compostable the way that vegetables byproducts (stalks, vines, leaves, etc.) are. Noone would have to raise any more cattle than we already do.

True, it's a by-product, but higher demand in by-products may well cause more cows to be slaughtered.

Hmmmm...Fat turns rancid when left in the heat so....add a bunch of those
man-made chemicals - some of the really toxic ones now and try to call
it a good idea. Fat production not fast enough - open free lipo-suction
clinics for the obese humans. I would probably go as this would be under
a health care program somewhere. No more diets - just free lipo visits.
Hey we could all be in great shape in no time! Maybe a good idea?? NOT.

Come on now people. Look at the whole article. It Was a JOKE. Obviously very poor taste. But you don't have to worry about any more cows being raised for motor oil, though I am sure there is more than enough beef fat around (imagine all that extra fat added to ground beef could be used for something else!) No people being liposucked. Although I bet there are many people who would volunteer if it were free!

Sorry Gaby, I get that it was a joke, that's what the website does, it's just the idea of somebody even considering the possibility that get's people upset.
