Goldman sold a massive amount of its BP holdings in early 2010 and one of its employees bragged in an e-mail in early April that they were "shorting" the Gulf and looking forward to huge profits from an environmental disaster there.

This is just another example of the New World Order that is being forced upon us. Goldman Sachs was given a huge sum of money during the banking bailout. So now we learn that they sold a massive amount of BP stock back in April!!!! Did they repay the debt that they owe to the American people via the Federal Reserve Bank????? Who did they sell the shares to and where is this money that is owed to you. What about the ongoing investigation of this company and the dirty underhanded deals they created to rob all of you. And why are executives of this company working for the federal government????? Come on people - we need answers to these questions before the deficit finally blows up and you will have such high inflation, your dollar will be worth nothing. I am 60, but still remember seeing pictures in public school books, of people riding their bikes to the corner store with 500.00 to buy a loaf of bread...

If this is true, then The FEDS should shut down Goldman Sucks, revoke their charter, sell off their predator loan shark company(LITTON) and make GS pay reparations to the GULF!
And how does the FED have thright to step into a states rights issue? Arizona is reeling under the onslaught of criminal illegals, Yes there are some good decent people trying to escape the misery of war torn Mexico, but lets set up a system to protect the USA

BP is NOT British owned.
The U.K. owns 40% - U.S owns 39% - Various Private stocks 11% - Remainder 10% owned by China, Norway, Dubai and Singapore.
The sizable global owner being J.P.Morgan Chase.

Thanks Roseann.

The basic rule of corporations is make a profit, not make a legal, sustainable, or moral profit. That is why there is a place in the market for co-operatives, mutuals, etc. They make profits by providing services to their members.

It's called the "Big Lie Technique" from Hitlers Mein Kampf and they use it on us all to promote their New World Order agenda. Just like 9/11 and the bailouts they stand to make billions.
Wake up America.

We have now lived without a car for seven months, and while we struggled initially, we are now managing well. I have taken control, can you? we were all convinced by corrupt people (initially the church who convinced people they needed to work themselves to death to stay "good") we allowed it to happen; And the majority of American people scream about the injustice from behind the steering wheels of their gas guzzling machines.

That's the way to make money. It was a disaster waiting to happen. Short the stock. Make millions. Disasters pay huge!

What can we do about this? Absolutely nothing. All the petitions, protests, and angry letters are falling on deaf ears because those who are in power DO NOT CARE ABOUT US. Always remember that the government doesn't care about you or your opinions. They do not care that the Gulf has been turned into a cesspool where nothing will be able to live. The only thing that will make a difference is a revolution to oust these oil-hungry barons from their positions of power, as well as a revolution in how humanity as a whole views the world around them. I don't think that will happen in my lifetime.

As much as I'd like to see BP (British Polluters/Politicians) be put out of business, our fearless leader, President Obama said himself "its in the nation's best interest that BP stay in business." What chance do we really have to save our Gulf and its wildlife, much less hold BP accountable for all the massive loss? None. Who's running who? The Big Polluting Oil corporations are running our grave cost to us all...especially the animals and habitat. Boo, Hiss.

I'd have to agree that it is in the nation's best interest for BP to stay in business for a while yet, while they are being required to pay for at least SOME of this nightmare. How much they actually pay remains to be seen, but "put them out of business" at this point? Maybe not such a good idea.

Thanks for the post Roseann, haven't been able to watch the video yet for some reason.
And our "fearless leader" is being endlessly criticized for putting a moratorium on deep-sea drilling until he sees that something like this can prevented in the future...
