Dallas Safari Club hopes to raise money for conservation, but critics pounce. A group called the Dallas Safari Club is auctioning off the chance for one hunter to shoot an endangered black rhinoceros in Namibia.

This is really sick, isn't it? I mean, what makes a person want to kill a poor animal, on the brink of extinction, and to pay so much money for this "fulfilling" murder?????? The world is crazy and humans are crazy, and I can't understand it at all! Your right AniMaeChi!

It is unbelievably sad that such a magnificant ancient creature is hunted for it's horn, a fraction of its total mass, & the body is just left to rot. At the end of the day Rhino horn is just plain old keratin. Why don;t we just send all our finger & toenail trimmings over to the East for them to chew on; its the same thing. Until the leaders of of Asian countries like China, Vietnam, & Thailand in particular, take responsibilty for the terrible consequences ofillicit horn buying, we must fight to save this magnificant being from extinction. Killing more of them IS NOT going to help
