“The best solution is to return him to his home,” said CMF Executive Director Jillian Dunn. “but in the event this can’t be done, the Cesar Millan Foundation has offered to help rehabilitate and rehome Lennox in another loving family outside the U.K., if necessary.”

I’m so glad to see that Cesar Millan has offered to take Lennox and find a loving home for him outside the UK far away from the Belfast City Council members. Although, it would be sad for his family not to have Lennox returned to them, I’m sure that the Barns family would agree that rather than have Lennox languishing in that cell with his health detiorating, that this is a way for Lennox to finally have a life again! This would seem to be a good resolution as then the Belfast City Council could save face (instead of looking as if this case was just trumped up because of their prejudice against a dog because he just happens to look like a certain breed not because he ever did anything wrong) and what appears to be vindictive behavior toward Lennox’s family because they chose to fight for Lennox’s life instead of letting the Belfast Council put Lennox down two years ago! This provides a graceful way out for them and Lennox’s life would be saved as well! There is no reason as I see it, why the Belfast City Council shouldn’t jump at Cesar Millan’s offer.

Poem for Lennox

Once upon a time,
there was a little girl,
lennox, her dog,
was her world.
then one day,
her world was seized,
by laws injust and.
morally diseased.
as her family agonized,
this little girl and her.
dog, were traumatized.
time slowly passed,
and sadly it flew,
a verdict unjust.
left a planet.
crying and blue.
so those of you,
who have the power.
to heal.
save this dog.
kindness is the only.
thing real.

Another unforturnate case of pure shortsightness on behalf of the authorties who hold this dog captive as on a great number of occasions one would save the dogs and shoot the owners which have given the Pit Bulls among others a bad rap sheet. Pitties are on the no no list here too but our authorities have changed their minds and as long as the owner is a responsible and caring person, no problem, the dog stays at home. The same accounts for Rottweilers, Dobermans, Neopolitan Mastiffs, Akitas, Chinese Chows, Belgian Malanois and German Shepherds. The Belfast City Counsel could easily adopt this rule by applying some common sense to this story as what they are doing now is beyond cruel and comprehension given the support this dog has received and subsequent solution to the problem, if there ever was any.

Lennox, a cross between an Am bulldog and a labrador, does not need rehabilitation!!! He is absolutely harmless, he only looks like a dangerous dog. He needs to be freed and go home to his family and not go to a dog trainer who uses cruel methods. Sorry, not a Milan fan, and never will be.

This is disgusting it is going on and on and one.Shame on those Belfast City Council animal abusing bastards.Lennox has done nothing wrong at all!! The fault lie with the arsehole at Belfast City council who seriously need to be exterminated not Lennox.

i have to wonder what the issue is for them at this point. Is it really Lennox or are they just being eedjits and not letting him go somewhere/anywhere simply because of stubbornness and they don;t want to look foolish or some other ridiculous reason. I don;t look like anything that I am and it wouldn't be acceptable to lock me up. killing him because he looks like a pit bull and that is perverse. Those persecuting him look like stupid, ignorant, and evil people, much more dangerous than Lennox and yet they are still free.

Have followed Lennox's story since the very beginning...still cannot believe it is over two years later and this dog has not been vindicated...This reeks of wrongness...I am against BSL..I think it's a load of crap..His young mistress and her family and this pooch have been through the gates of hell on this one..When human eyes begin to see beyond the surface to the soul that lies within, be it beast, fowl, fish or human, perhaps humanity wil stand a chance of survival. I freely admit - it would be a miracle..

Maybe his celebrity will save Lennox's life. Issues like this only stand a chance with a little help from celebrities or politicians in high places. So happy Ceasar Milan has stepped in to help :-)

at least there is good people trying to step in and save the baby, even though the owners have gone through a lot , but for know if it means getting the dog out there well there is no option. but save the pet. So much stereo type for the breed it does not make sense, when this dog gets kill quite a lot in high shelters by stupid humans that don't care for animals.

Great of Ceasar to make the offer but the place for Lennox is at home with his family. I certainly hope Belfast Council does right for Lennox, he should not have had to endure the torment of being alone for 2 years while these busy bodies decide his fate especially when he hasn't done any wrong.

Can't label all dogs as being the same. That's why these breed discriminations laws are not valid. Hope Lennox is saved.
