Glad to hear the royal vagina is lined with gold.

Just think even royal women get pregnant what might happen next? Humans may walk on the moon or send rockets to search Mars....nah, probably not. Jon did a great job mocking the "Royal Pregnancy" or at least the incredibly stupid news that accompanies this announcement. He interview with Christy was darn good as well.

If she has to go to hospital at this stage of the game what's she going to do when she comes to term? Could it be that the royal Reptile junior is causing her discomfort? Will ugly Kate wind up sacrificed like Diana? Do I really give a flying you know what? Absolutely not. All the royals could disappear and we wouldn't miss them at all. They are no better than anyone else in the grand scheme of things.

Not into the royal story so skipped ahead to listen to Christy. I always like to view the politicians out of their typical environment we hear them in.

Noted w/thanks, Kit. I never miss The Daily Show. Since I don't watch cable news, I get to see what's current with a spoonful of sugar. I don't care about "royal news" either, but watching him diss them gives me many laughs.

I saw the Chris Christie interview on Hardball yesterday, and I have to say that I see Governor Christy in a different light since I saw him in action during Superstorm Sandy. He really appeared to care more about his constituency than his party and took a great risk by showing such respect and admiration for and willingness to work with President Obama right before such an important election. His excitement over getting a "man hug" from Bruce Springsteen and finally becoming his "buddy" was touching. I'm seeing him as much more "real" now than I have in the past.

Thanks for that "outside the U.S." link, Kit!

I record The Daily Show every day, and yes --his interviews are always good.

I don't really understand why people get so upset about media interest in the British royal pregnancy - it's just another form of celebrity "news", like the Kardashians' marriages & movie stars' romances, none of which is of any real significance to the wellbeing of the world; but then, neither are the videos/pictures of cats in Hanukkah costumes or any number of other things that people find entertaining, or at least mildly diverting. Chill out, and if you don't care, just ignore it all.

Given that thanks to the press they killed the last Royal mother, Kate Middleton is not going to have an easy time. The publishing of her topless photos only showed how low the tabloid press can go and that an anagram of her name is "Naked Tit Model" is about the intellectual level of the whole thing. The British royal family are a bunch of genetic mutants who are bloody lucky they managed to get Kate Middleton. As for Governor Christie - well hasn't he put on some weight?

fooie...can't get it on my's a royal pain in the ass. What exactly has royalty done in the first place? Just being born as a result of a lucky royal sperm finding a lucky royal egg. If that doesn't occur...there must be royal surrogates and royal sperm banks (in Switzerland???) that could "cure" royal sterility? We cow manures will never really know.

It's not the royal couple's fault that we're hearing every detail of the pregnancy. It's the same predatory media/tabloids that are going to chase her around just like they did to Diana. I feel sorry for them because they are going to be hunted and we will hear about every pound she gains. William and Kate aren't camera whores like celebrities. Kate isn't going to want pics of herself looking nauseous and fat, and William is very protective of her because of his mother. But the photographers will always be chasing them for the big money pix.

Yeah, Jon Stewart is usually funny but some of this was 13 -year-old boy stuff. Each to their own I guess.
