Warning, graphic video. Patagonia claims to sell "responsibly sourced" wool, but an eyewitness found workers plunging knives into the throats of fully conscious animals, cutting off sheep's tails and skinning lambs alive on Argentine farms.

Thanks, Marcus. I have already signed PETA's petition, and I don't buy wool and haven't for many years since I learned about the brutality to sheep.

Stardust Noel, what's the difference between eating a baby animal and an adult animal? They all suffer. This article pertains to wool, not mutton.

I've analyzed the video: it's staged. There are so many anomalies and obvious set-ups, along with spliced footage. For those distressed by the image of the lamb being skinned alive, I hope I can offer you some comfort: the lamb was dead. When an animal is slaughtered it enters the tonic phase (rigidity) then the clonic phase, which is rhythmic movement of the limbs.

But the lambs were slaughtered brutally and illegally, according to animal welfare laws in Argentina, and it was done for the camera. "Kill a few to save the many". I hope they are caught and jailed for the full term of 15 years, and that PeTA is held accountable.

Thanks Marcus--and to Lynda above. I agree, the brutal slaughter and the fact that it was illegal, is cause for alarm and they should be serving a full jail term. I've signed a petition.

Who is the real animal? We humans or the poor animals of all kinds we torture to death for food or pleasure, like trophy hunting and even some pet owners who got impatient with raising a dog?!?!
The Middle East, China, Korea and even Japan are the biggest offenders!
