French energy giant TOTAL announced today that it is "too risky to invest in Iran for now." What's the underlying message here?

Here's the message that's coming throuhg loud & clear, people: There's going to be fighting in Iran.

Israel Hints at Readiness to Strike Iran

Condoleezza Rice: We Will Take Any Action Necessary to Defend Friends and Interests in the Persian Gulf

Well, I dunno about you - but if Israel wants to attack Iran, that's THEIR business. I don't want MY country jumping into another war because some Israeli hotheads can't wait to get aggressive. Your thoughts?

On TV, I saw that Iran is launching short, and medium range rockets for tests. Given the fact, that GWB states, that Iran is going to be a nucleair power, this is bad news !
Hope that this won't escalate !
Tnx for the post, Cate

I agree let us keep our nose out of it for 1 time. If Irael wants to hit them then so be it, not us, We have cause enough damage as it is, we need to get our people out before they do it for we have many people there too. This could bring a lot of deaths upon Americans people who are in the Arm forces there. I only hope and pray for all our troops bring them home. Thanks Cate

Bu$h only has a few more months before he is required to step out of the limelight so wants to go in a blase of what his tiny mind thinks of as glory.

Sadly for the rest of the world we are going to see the bullies of this world (oh yes I mean the good old USofA) duff up another country in thier mad dash to corner the world oil markets so that SUVs can still guzzle their way to Wall Mart.

Bu$h made it plain in Japan that all the rest of us will have to reduce our way of life so that the USA can continue to poison the world and murder anyone they darn well please.

Don't get me wrong I am not anti the US. What I hate is the greed and the bullying attitude of the present administration (and probably the next)

Yes Cate Iran is on count down for the bullies of the world (USA and Israel) to bomb them and creat the kind of living hell that has become of Afghanistan and Iraq.

No one listens to peaceniks like us just before hostilities are joined. Iran is going to be a lot tougher to crack than santion weakened Iraq was. I fear we are going to see a lot of body bags.

The time for talk is ended and the time for prayer has started.

We don't have the resources or the man power for another war.
Look for the draft to come back if they want to attack another country again.

Friends in the Persian Gulf? Ha! Interests? Ah yes, oil.

Next administration? Could be the same one. Herr Bush has given himself the authority to postpone or cancel the elections this year in the event of a national emergency. Attacking Iran would qualify as a national emergency.

And don't forget those concentration camps scattered around the US in case you want to protest.

I believe France doesn't trust the US as it once did. Mainly because they were kept out of the loop during the hostage rescue in Colombia. France had no advance knowledge that a rescue attempt was taking place, and Sarkozy is a bit miffed at Bush for not letting him on the deal. But I have to wonder the reason it took them 5 yrs. to accomplish the rescue? This same thing could have been done within the first yr. of the capture of the hostages. I'm certain the Colombian military had knowledge of where they were, but I do find it a bit ironic that McCain was in Colombia pushing his Free Trade Agenda when the rescue took place. How much did McCain know, and was he in on the rescue, but kept mum about it? I think he knows more than what he's saying. Covering-up I would presume. What a "cracker" McCain is anyway. We don't have anyone worth squat running for president, and neither candidate can keep the promises their making, so why bother? Is it because they want our votes or to keep their jobs in a do nothing Congress and Senate. We have been sold out by Barack Obama who said he would not vote for a bill that contained language to give retroactive immunity to telecoms who particpated in the NSA Spygate. But he flip flooped and voted for the Senate version of the bill, and Hillary Clinton voted no. There's something rotten going on on the campaign trail that we don't know about yet. But will we ever? I hardly think so.

I have made up my mind not to vote for any incumbents in November. I don't have a dog in the race anyway as I am an Independent voter, and I will look for Independents to vote for if they're on the ballot in Massachusetts. I used to be proud of Massachusetts for it is the Birth Place of our Independence, but I'll bet a $1,0000.00 to a donut that our founders are reeling in their graves over this administration and others that have passed on. Each generation is supposed to be better than the last, but at this juncture I don't see much of a difference between the two party's. They both wreak of BS, and that's the bottom line. Not because I said so, but because of what I see and hear. My head doesn't screw on and off like a bottle cap, but our elected officials seem to think it does.

Getting back to the original question about Iran. Could it be that France does not want to invest in Iran because of a threat to attack them by Israel and or the US, and they know something that we don't? Hmm, something to ponder I believe...Israel is long over due for a serious ass kicking anyway. Better now than later. It isn't that I don't like Israel, I don't like them sucking our country dry by giving them arms and money to the tune of billions of dollars, while they refuse to recognize Palestine as a Soverign country. After all Palestine is the old Jeruselem, and Jesus was born in Palestine and not Israel as some preachers would have you believe. I say to Iran protect yourself, even if you have to use nukes, use them and don't back down from Herr Bush. Iran can cut off oil supplies in the Persian Gulf within a day, and stop shipping from entering the Straight of Hermuz. Go Iran go..

I need to post a disclaimer: I am not promoting terrorism in any way shape or form thereof. I DO NOT SUPPORT ANY TYPE OF TERRORSIM even if it is being perpetrated by the US in Iraq or Afghanistan or any other country. I do know that BushCo would like nothing better than to get his hooks into the gas and oil reserves that Iran has. Every country that has gas and or oil BushCo wants it. All he sees is dollar signs when he looks at Iran. In addition I don't believe the hype that Iran is attemting to get a nuclear weapon. But if they were they need them to protect themselves against countries who do have nukes, like the US, Israel and Pakistan.

So if any FBI guys or CIA guys or NSA guys are reading this don't bother knocking on my door because I won't answer it, and I do have a lawyer...

I would be very suprised if we went to war with Iran at this point, 86% of the country wants out of iraq right now. I don't think anybody will bite on another false flag attack after all the Guffaw about 911 and never finding any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Just don't see it happening. Thx Cate!

Iran has stated that they do not want war but they are prepared to fight they are not like Iraq a lame duck! I dont think that GWB will ask anybody he has warned all his partners in Europe and some people like Brown in the UK will join like in Iraq! Very sad to see how a few people destroy this world and kill millions of people worldwide! No chance for peace as long as people like GWB are ruled by Haliburton and friends...

Mr Ahamadinijad said it was properganda we dont need to fear a war - my thoughts are Israel doese not need to defend itself from any threat perhaps it should focus less on the fears of the past ! Free Palestine !

IS THIS NATION, "FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE" OR NOT?! There's no fence to be sitting on and even if there was, this isn't the time to be on it! We need to make it very clear (including and especially our military personel, police and other enforcement types) that there will be NO MORE WAR for the UNITED STATES!!!

Bush is insane enough (or rather Deadeye Dickyboy is) to start up something he (they) can't finish. But I read that Israel would probably start this time as a proxy for the US, since Bush, Lieberbush, McCrazy and recently NObama have ALL said they would defend Israel and protect it from Iran, basically, giving Israel the green light to do what it wants--as usual.

No money for war, no problem, Uncle Sam will just borrow more money from China to pay for it--as usual.

No military manpower, no problem, Uncle Sam will just start up the draft and we can kiss our husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, wives, mothers, sisters and daughters goodbye--as usual. And Hanna, I hope you are right but I doubt the sheeple in this country will put up more than a whimper about it. Oh they will be outraged, insensed and vocal but in the end, they will fall in line and do what the governemnt wants. Because our government no longer cares what we think, what we feel or what we want. Isn't that painfully obvious by now? But on the offchance that you are right and the sheeple of our country wake the **** up and smell the kool aide and actually refuse en masse to cooperate this time around. THAT will completely surprise me!

Oh, wait, need to get the American Public behind this effort like they did the last one, raise the false flag again. AS USUAL.

Elections? What elections? There will be no elections. Der Fuhrer Bush will see to that. After all, he's keeping us safe from the terrorists right? He won't leave the Oval Office while he's having soooooooooooo much FUN!!!! Besides, there's more money to be no contracted to Halliburton, KBR and Blackwater to be had. AS USUAL. Gotta love those kickbacks heh heh (I can hear the Twig saying this in my head--dear God make it stop!!!).

OR on the slim chance that Dumbya will abdicate if he feels sure enough that McCrazy will be ushered into the office because the fix is in and a flase flag will seal the deal for his being SELECTED via the black box voting and the Supremes get to make a comeback hit again.

It's all about the oil folks. Always has been and always will be. The Bush Crime Family may not go full scale war but they will pull something. Count on it. What they are not understanding is the same thing they have never understood about the Middle East and probably never will understand because of their inbred idiocy and flat out arrogance---Iran is NOT Arabic, the people are Persian NOT Arabs. Not the same tribes, not the same factions, definately NOT the same mindset and NOT the same thousand year old feuds that is Afganistan and Iraq. They will underestimate AS USUAL.

What I worry about is Israel using their nukes. That WILL start WWIII. What insanity...what inhumanity.

May the Great One damn them all.

If my neighbor's dogs are any judge (they started howling when I finished reading the article), we lack the resources to get involved in Iran. However, Bush wishes to make a "NAME FOR HIMSELF" and so far hasn't, so watch out! If my son has to go, his two daughters and his son-in-law better be on the front lines as well. No special treatment, Prince Harry went to do his job and let the Bush daughters do theirs.

Israel, is threatening to use their nukes on Iran, if the U.S. doesn't do something (like attack). Israel doesn't want Iran to have nuclear missiles, and they want the U.S. to fix it.

Everyone should be alittle antsy on this one, and sending some positive energy to these leaders, of NOT ATTACKING each other with these weapons. For some reason the U.S., UK, and Israel (oh and Russia, but we aren't suppose to know that) are the only ones allowed to have nuclear programs and weapons on this planet, when NO ONE should have them. Israel, doesn't want anyone that close to them, having nuclear missiles, if they are against Israel.

So, Iran has no intention of disarming, like North Korea, is doing under some "deal." This will lead to either America bombing Iran, or Israel nuking Iran....., and YES it could lead to WWIII. Time to unite in Love and Light people...We aren't alone..Much Love and Peace..Namaste, Dar

Cate you see the idea is that Isriel starts a war with Iran and asks for our help ,,this is to make us think the only reason America joined in Isriels in the war with Iran was because their our allies and asked for our help ..when in fact Isriel and the US planned this all along !

BTW Dar we also gave Saudi Arabia the okay for nuclear weapons in fact we sold them to them !North Korea, Canada and China also has nuclear weapons .There is a big arsenal of nuclear weapons out there that most people don't even know about in fact most countries we call our allies have them !

Darlene K (356)

Ah yes, how could I forget about Saudi Arabia! (yes, china is like russia shhh, we are suppose to know) And you are right, we did sell most of these weapons to all these nations, don't that just make ya feel all fuzzy inside...Thank you for correcting me Linda. Namaste
