It is a difficult idea to fathom. But the science is clear: Unless we change the way we live, the Earth's coral reefs will be utterly destroyed within our children's lifetimes.

Wow! If this article doesn't make people think about how their daily choices are affecting the environment, I don't know what will. If global climate disruption can wipe out a species that has been around for most of Earth's existance, what is it doing to us?
