Given the Scottish National Farmers Union state the ban is unnecessary because the GM maize already approved for European farmers to grow and the six other products under consideration aren’t suitable for growing in Scotland anyway. Still as for pissing off Monsanto is always a good thing and I suppose.

Hopefully some of their internal documents declaring "unforeseen adverse effects to human health" will surface and then they will get the same treatment as the tobacco industry received-a label declaring that the product is hazardous to health-it is.
