Oh come now. I'm sure he was visiting the tiger as a guest and not breaking the law as stated. It shows he is interested in the tigers, evenif he was getting a bit of publicity for it (though not the kind he expected.) Thanks Simone.

He is the Minister of Agriculture, and that department oversees the care of the tiger, according to the article. No doubt there is a lot of human contact because the cub is only 4 months old. His contact with the animal may serve to make him even more sympathetic with the plight of wild tigers there.

Tigers there need people in politics to care. I think they are making a mountain out of a molehill simply for attention getting.

I agree if they make it sound worse than it is it will be even harder for those in politics to care about good causes! They are not going to feed the hand that bites them!!!!!!!
