This is great, a step in the right direction for Spain, who has a terrible record of allowing animal abuse (it's way more than bullfighting, that's just the most visible). Thanks Simone.

Great to finally get some good news on ending bulltorturing! The law will not actually be voted on till April. I thank Brigitte Bardot for her efforts, as well as the efforts of so many activists around the world, including Care2 members.

Good for Catalonia! This barbaric brutal "sport" has no place in a modern, enlightened society and I hope the rest of Spain follows suit. The revenue they lose by stopping these bloody spectacles can be made up in many other ways, so that is no excuse.

I equate "Bull Fighting" along with "Dog Fighting". Both are inhumane, barbaric and disgusting to force animals to fight for their lives and people taking pleasure in this. It can't come soon enough to end this every where and any where.

Noted, thank you. This is wonderful news if it passes! I have a terrible feeling that the "pro bullfighting" sector will be very busy until April, defending their right to torture animals in the name of "culture". Bless all those who are actively fighting to end this horrible spectacle.
