Ted Turner's bid to get 74 wild bison from Yellowstone National Park is drawing stiff opposition from those who say the animals are being given up for private profit instead of conservation.

give them to whoever keep the numbers up keep the genetic diversity growing ,, these animals have recovered from a very small population, the numbers staying up is paramount to having a possible back up population should disease strike.

A few years ago, Turner was the LARGEST PRIVATE LANDOWNER in this Country - HUMMMM...means he can do ANYTHING HE WANTS on that land - and no one would be the WISER - Who is to say he doesn't have a PRIVATE HUNT CLUB - I don't trust ANYONE THESE DAYS - and the bottom line - IF the NATIVE AMERICANS ARE AGAINST THIS - SO AM I..........We've done enough to these BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS - LET THEM REST IN PEACE IN WONDERFUL, FREE YELLOWSTONE NP............AMEN

OBVIOUSLY IF TED TURNER IS GOING TO KEEP 190 BISON THAT ARE BORN FORM THE 74 HE IS SUPPOSE TO BE HELPING HE IS DOING THIS FOR SELF GAIN NOT TO HELP THE BISON. SO HE IS NO BETTER THAN THE ONES WHO WOULD SLAUGHTER THESE ANIMALS.

THE GOVERNMENT PROMISED TO LEAVE THESE ANIMALS IN THE WILD AND NOW ARE GOING AGAINST THIER WORD AGAIN. OUR GOVERNMENT OFFICALS ARE MONEY HUNGRY AND LIARS.
