So do I dear Roseann. Australia seems to be full of sick brumby killers. A few weeks ago, there were brumbies slaughtered in New South Wales and now they are thinking about slaughtering them in Snowy Mountains and this is organized by NSW Parks, which are supposedly protecting our animals!

Another incidence of this! What are people thinking of?? This is not brumbies, but someone's stock horses. How terrible for the horses and owner. But brumbies or owned horses, none of them deserve this. I do so hope they catch them and throw the book at them.

This is terrible and I'm sick to the teeth about hearing horses being shot for no reason whatsoever and foals that were just born? Honestly this person must be spiteful towards the owners of these horses. Can't they move the mares in foal somewhere else. I would have thought they'd done that as it's always the same paddock that the horsekiller goes for. They ought to move the horses and get a bull to put in that field then when the killer comes again he'd get a shock of his life!!!

There will always be those who simply want to shoot something that is alive and see it die.Agnes bull idea is worth considering, although I'd be more inclined to go with trip wires and small explosives--nothing lethal of course, just very painful. And cameras--which have been used to catch guilty individuals committing crimes against animals in a variety of situations.

Hope they catch these cruel , pathetic people and make a good example out of them !! Thank God the police are taking this seriously , unlike the cops in GREECE who pressed no charges against the horse dragger ! :(

If they were my horses after the 1st attack I would be watching them round the clock. Poor woman having her animals attacked like this but why wait 3 days for one to die? Woule it not be better for it to be put to sleep ASAP? I do hope they get the people responsible & name & shame them along with a heafty fine & anything else they can throw at them.

It seems like this kind of thing is happening more & more; or is it just that it's publicized more? There are a lot of sick human beings out there that need to be put away for good.
