I am glad he lost his appeal. He deserves the full 12 months sentence not the 4 months he might get.As a matter of fact-he deserves more time in jail. He showed no remorse for the suffering-referring to them as rodents.Well decent, caring people do not let rodents suffer either. His lawyer described him as a 'caring and responsible young man'.What a line of bull****.He is a brutal monster who does not respect life. And his lawyer can't be much of a person if she believes what she said

YAY! Finally, cruelty is a crime! He needs all of his sentence to be served..and that is not enough sentence to suit me, he deserves MORE! But, I am happy to see some justice for once. Like Peggy A. said above, his lawyer is spewing a line BS as big as Texas! She is no better than he is if she is trying that hard to free him...I could not, nor would not defend a brute like he is! Thanks, Simone!

Well, I guess 4 months is better than zero months...... still, he needed much, much more time on the sentance than that. Cruelty laws need to be so heavy on the penalty phase that it makes the offender think twice before he/she commits the abuse. Until that happens, it looks like we have to keep letting our voices be heard. As far as the lawyer, that's her job.... defending POS like him. I would be highly surprised if his actions didn't turn her stomach but she does have a job to do.
