What? is this for real?! I am so excited to see these animals freed (possibly within 6 months). Now, if we could just get this to happen in the US too (everywhere for that matter). I really needed a morsel of good news today (read, noted, signed too many today - it was really bringing me down, and then I see this one! wooo hooo for the animals!)

Keep all animals out of circuses...they are not here for our entertainment! Support human-only circuses.

This is great news, but Jim Fitzpatrick MP has not made the ban law yet. I hope he will do as soon as he can. It may not be a Labour government in power after June, so if he doesn't bring the law in before that, I am unsure of the implications. TY Simone.

USA needs to follow this example. Then the next item to tackle is to ban ALL ownership of exotic animals as pets.

A step in the right direction. I'm so sick off these.....parents who use "emotion" to justify the abuse of animals. Pathetic and ill thought out statements like " it's the only time our children get to see animals" will no longer carry any weight. Using children to get your way is not acceptable anymore! We can see right through your nonsense!
