Well isn't this just one of the better reason to adopt Veganism?

Thanks, Simone! This has been an issue of great concern for me since I learned about egg production more than 20 tears ago. Even "humane-certified" eggs can come from warehoused, debeaked hens.

Caging hens or any type of birds is inhumane! These are animals that needs to be pecking & scratching all day long & to be outdoors looking for worms, bugs, greens & bits of small stones & seeds along the grounds. That is when they are the most happy & lay the BEST eggs. Any other types of eggs are unworthy of being labeled with nutritional value since that poor hen is forced to eat only what is fed to them & is I am certain of the lowest quality & for the biggest profit! If any one buys eggs from caged farm hens you are not getting value for what you are paying. It is all for profit at the cost of these poor little hens. Used & abused! I've seen videos of how they are treated! So cruel! I signed.

I do not want to eat an egg from an animal which has suffered, when I buy free range, I should be buying an egg laid by a chicken, who has been allowed to run free for most of the day and caged with adequate room for safety at night.

My brother chickens, I know when he gives me eggs, they are the best free range there is.

Please read and share, rescued horses will die without your support.

I will not condone the cruel and torturous life of caged hens by buying their eggs! I only buy free range, local eggs! Be humane! Boycott caged hen eggs
