To use any living creature for our own pleasure is fundamentally disrespectful. It is basic. We need to stop circuses, rodeos etc. Two consenting adults is a different matter. Anything else: children, animals, the handicapped should be outlawed.

I am strongly against the use of animals for the purpose of human entertainment, the animals belong in their natural habitat, they suffer and endure pain we cannot even imagine and this is wrong. elephants have feelings just like us, and Ringling does not consider the welfare of the animals that make them rich and famous whilst secretly these animals suffer in their captivity and intolarable training. not right

We all agree that animals should not be employed by a circus so why does this persist?

I take part in protesting the circus whenever it comes to town. We also do smaller circuses that go out to the suburbs. I feel sad every time because i know the elephants are inside leading such unhappy lives.

On September 23, 2010, I had the privilege to protest for the first time. With finding so much cruelty to both animals and mankind in the world - I stopped pretending I could not do anything to prevent it. The two posters I chose were of a baby elephant standing on his head and another his hind quarters and front quarters pulled from underneath him while "staffers" staff/hooks surrounded the obviously-frightened female/fella.

THE STAFFERS ARE PAID FOR THAT ACT AND ACTS THE ANIMAL PERFORM WHILE THE ELEPHANT GAINS NOTHING BUT A HEAVY HEART AND MIND. WE PATRONIZE FEEDIING INTO SOMEONE ELSE DISTORTED DREAM(S). THE PARENTS WHO TAKE THEIR CHILDREN TO SEE THIS IS LIVING THROUGH THEIR CHILDREN. I know this firsthand. My parents took me and I refused and found I had a voice of consent or discontent. Neither of them cared. My care grew strong and defiant. Thank you both mom and dad, I really do love you but, I am reminded this day of those times. The love they have for human life is why I am here today. Both my parents are prejudice - so I know it when I see it. I can associate with them, but, tread lightly - oh so lightly. I am the heavy hand of who I am today. No one can tell me I can not love all things. It is not dificult; just sit back and enjoy the company - as they may enjoy yours.

I honor those who attended the circus - and LOOKED at the posters as opposed to upping their nose with tunnel vision in the direction of the door as if to say aloud, "I do not care about what you have to say; all I care about is "seeing" those elephants do tricks." and "I do not care how we all arrived here; all I care about is what I am about to see." I must state for the record, I wish now, one would have remarked, "Don't you have better things to do?" Listening to advertisments they boost, "...the greatest show on Earth." That their is a death-defying lie; Jesus is the Greatest of all time. My parents do not like it when I talk like that either.

God bless all those who took time out of their day to protest Ringling. Keep up the good work and someday we will get them to stop using animals for their circus.
