The situation sounds much like our own oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. In the Gulf disaster the company willfullya nd knowlingly failed to use the correct level of safety blowout protection resulting in economic and environmental disaster for the entire region. The only way to stop the behavior is to make such failure financially ruinous. I thik BP should have to pay not only fines for failing to follow safety protocol, but should pay for the entire clean-up and to pay restitution to every business that lost money due t the disaster without limit. Maybe then they will pay more attention to safety.

It does sound like the Gulf Spill situation. If we keep this up there will be no whales or dolphins. How awful that would be!
