When she first met her rescuer, the emaciated dog crawled on her belly, longing for affection but too terrified to stand up. Known only as the number tattooed on her ear, she was sick with hookworms, tapeworms, and a vaginal infection, and her teeth were

Bless her. I hope she has a long and happy life now with a caring family.
No animals should be experimented on, their lives are worth so much more than that.

Animals resiliency never seizes to amaze me. They are so forgiving & know how to just pick up from there & live the rest of their lives without holding grudges. If only people could learn this leeson. Bless this sweet girl Libby & am so happy she will know what is like to just be a happy dog! I wish this for all the rest of these poor innocent animals suffering this injustice!

I am glad she is happy now in her new home. I hope the bastards that are charged will get what is coming to them. All the law can give and then some.

What a lovely little dog. My whole family strives NOT to purchase any products tested on animals. Still, there is a lot of animal research that goes on and some of it no doubt falls upon our shoulders. I will not rest easy until all of the animals in the labs are set free.

What kind of discussing creatures are some so-called Humans, how can anyone have the heart to abuse an animal in any kind of way, I will never ever understand this!!!

By Injecting deadly bacteria and cutting up animals will not cure anyone!!!

Whoever does not have compassion for another being, God will not have compassion for them!!!

There's a reason for stopping the use and abuse of lab animals. Instead of the pain and torture they receive they can be happy canines like she is today. Just bypass the suffering part and get right to the happy phase.

I love happy endings and am thrilled that Libby is thriving in her new home.

I hope there is a forthcoming list of the pharmaceutical companies that participated in these atrocities, so that caring consuners can BOYCOTT their products!

I like Glamour Girl would like a list of the companies that participated in this cruel, inhumane testing. I hope those bastards at the Testing place go to jail and that Company is closed forever. How many more have to die before justice is done. All that suffering, for what? Thank God Libby was saved. Another Teary story. I hate these abusers I hope they all burn in hell.

WHY can't we stop it? If you know the answer, maybe you can explain it to me because I don't know. There are thousands of petitions to end animal testing. WHERE is the government on this? WHEN will universities be held accountable?

Wonderful outcome for Libby but unfortunately as we know this is a rariety as many poor animals are killed after the research labs have finished with them.
There is never any reasonable excuse to conduct research on animals. The use of animals in research is now outdated and has been replaced by much more effective and humane investigative procedures. As a Medical Officer it is my job to know this.
All animal research must stop NOW!!
Thanks Simone.

It will be a good day when animal researchers have to stand in unemployment lines! May they all have to face the animals they experimented on in the afterlife!

These people have no idea what Hell they are going to! And they will find no rest from their suffering for all eternity. That makes me so very happy ~ that will be the only true justice, because there is no punishment in life that they could receive that would be equal to their crimes.

I am so happy for all the animals that were saved because of the undercover investigation of that laboratory. Fortunately, the lab has been closed and Libby, along with many others will now enjoy a much better life.

Grats to the PETA members that helped shut that laboratory down. May those guilty of torturing those poor animals reap the same pain. Pharmaceutical companies only care about money and will do anything to make more. Have you all read the side effects on the majority of their drugs. My favorite side effect was for heart medication (are you ready for this one?): This drug may cause heart attack. Noted with thanks.

I'm so grateful that the hell hole who tortured animals has been closed down. Hope those sadists get jail time as should every individual involved with that torture chamber.
Dogs are such beautiful souls. After all she went through she can still love humans....I sure couldn't (and don't).

So very sad. There is no need for animal experimentation. If chocolate was tested on animals, we would not be eating it. Think of all the cures we are missing out on because the experiment did not work on animals. I hope God makes all those involved in testing to relive ove3r and over the horror they make these animals go through, before they can go to heaven.
