Ever wonder why the dogs are stray? Fayettville is a military city, Fort Bragg and there is no provision in war for a deployed soldiers animals

The Haven Friends for Life a no-kill has about 800 dogs right now; the animals being targeted are running in packs in the city, not as the desription in the petition. This action will and likely already has removed the targeted 150 animsls.

If you wish to save a dog or cat adopt one from The Haven as they are full and being sanctioned trying to "save them all" and you can't.

Petition is a waste of time, make one for the militarys of the world to provide for a deployed soldiers animal.

This is truly dreadful, it is nothing short of barbaric and far from what is expected in a first world country. It really disturbs me on a number of levels. Overall is what is going through the minds of those pulling the trigger. They must be aware that they at least some of the animals they are killing are loved pets who's death will cause untold misery to those who care for them. Those who have little regard for the feelings of others are known as sociopaths! This brings me to my next point - the local Government are prepared to fund sociopaths in order to indulge their fantasy! Let's face it no 'normal' human being would willingly kill a dog; no public official, who is right thinking, would fund it!

Signed and noted. This is truely a shame to just shoot the dogs without trying to capture them and find them homes. Dogs are running together, they are pack animals, but they are doing no harm to the humans! There has to be a better way.

What is wrong w/the world? Nobody's willing to solve the problem by making spay/neuter mandatory but happy to gun up. Stop allowing people to shoot everything that they like, no wonder violence & wacko's are running rampant, the world practically encourages it. How sad! The good ones like us suffer while these idiots shoot & kill precious souls, I wish the tables were turned.

Spaying/neutering of cats and dogs should be mandatory. This would help in reducing the number of stray animals. Killing is not the way it should be done!
The military should provide some care for the animals of the soldiers as well
