ACTION ALERT: End the Use of Cruel and Ineffective Glue Traps for Small Animals! PLEASE SIGN !

Glue traps are small pieces of cardboard or plastic coated with a sticky adhesive intended to capture a small animal. This allows it to be touted as the perfect solution, no poison, no messy snap-traps, just a simple block of sticky material.

These traps can kill the wrong animals, attract other vermin, and do not address the source of the problem.

The first time I heard of these little nightmares was in the place where my father worked, years ago. They used them in the warehouse and I got so upset about how horribly cruel these traps were that my father convinced his boss not to use them anymore. We got them a cat instead :) and named him Cheech - nickname for Francis. Then we got him a friend. Cheech and, yes, Chong worked out very well. They both had long, happy lives. Can't say so for the mice. TY Simone. Signed

Thanks for this Simone, as this is a horrible death for God's little creatures! It's very close to me too. I worked for the County of Ventura for 17 years before retiring early on a medical disability. & of course they did everything on the cheap & used these traps. So after I saw the first slow death, I would clock in early & collect & dispose the many traps in our office alone, then I replaced them with humane traps, but God forbid I do something nice for our furry friends as I was told to leave the glue traps be & do not use my own humane trap! I was able to save & set free maybe30-40 of them.
& i recently had some rats homestead in my garage & to date, I have gathered up 18 so far & taken them down to an orchard about a 1/4 mile away & freed them into the thick carpet of leaves. - no cats, hawks cant see them & the few snakes we have are troo small !
