After nearly 40 years and 2 failed Supreme Court cases, the United States still refuses to accept blame for the 3-4 million Agent Orange victims in Vietnam. 20 million gallons of herbicide were dumped by the United States on Vietnam during the Vietnam War

wikipeda is also still pushing BLATANT LIEs, like e.g.
" The 2,4,5-T used to produce Agent Orange was LATER discovered to be contaminated with [TCDD] " (MY caps), repeatedly, in and ...

ALTHOUGH the toxicity was well-known from several accidents and had been researched and PUBLUSHED by 1957, AND there is testimony to the contrary, eng. by James R. Clary, a former government scientist with the Chemical Weapons Branch, who said: ""When [military scientists] initiated the herbicide program in the 1960s, we were aware of the potential for damage due to dioxin contamination in the herbicide ...However, because the material was to be used on the Ďenemy,í none of us were overly concerned."

I've gathered material on this (located, copied and uploaded the 1957-paper), but couldn't get myself to start to (try to) correct wikipedia, not that I have even the smallest doubt as to the facts; it's only like entering a discussion with holocaust-deniers (it makes me sick)

Some say how can our own government possibly deliberately kill l3,000 Americans on 911? Well , look what our gobvernment did to over a million mostly Vietnam civilians. Look what we did in Iraq with more advanced weapons. Look what we are doing in Libya. Who knows what other countries our military is secretly poisoning with our bombs against so-called terrorist?

And the same thing is happening with depleted uranium weapons. We can't afford to allow sociopaths to continue to run the world -- this goes for all nations.

I did not sign the petition--the main reason (though I definitely do not dispute the effects of Agent Orange) is the photo--it is straight out of National Enquirer. If I am to sign a petition, it has to be real.

@ Pamela K. and others who might question the validity of the image accompanying this article please check this out:

It is a very shocking & poignant photo used for this article, and sadly it DOES represent the effects of AO.

We all know that Agent Orange was used by the US and what it did. Who do they think they're kidding?

The very least America should do is to own up ,apologise and clean up ,help these poor people, take responsibility for what was done to them ,because of the war,I don't think they have much hope .as the last I heard they haven't compensated the American Indians for taking back the Black Hills after gold was supposedly found there ,so I think they have 'Bucklys"
,who else done it the Aliens??.

A tragedy which did not need to happen. America needs to admit the fault and give compensation where needed, it's the least the people deserve. S&N thanks.

I lost three of my best friends in high school to that senseless war my eventually moving to Canada not wanting to be apart of America's continual war machine. I still get ribbed for my American past here I respond that I have tried to bring something different to this country a caring for both the planet and wildlife. I watched a show on PBS where they show and audio of two American airmen yucking it up as they both fired rockets into a cave full of laotian villagers no one knows jow many died but the people their still revere the ashes thsy can find. Get out of Afghanistan Now!

Signed with pleasure! Don't think the US will admit to it though, since it would mean that they have to pay compensation if they did. And that would cost a fortune!
