It's about time. They did a really good thing and to be punished for it is so very wrong. I'm happy with this news. Thank you.

I am glad to see that people who care for injured animals are finally recognized as doing a good deed. The officer who started this and the prosecutor should learn animal kindness is a good thing.

These 2 people are heros and deserve medals.
I am sick of America encouraging animal abuse and animal murder and when good people help animals they receive negative outcomes and nasty threats.
Solution is hunt the hunters. The only good hunter is a dead one.
Thanks Simone

Thank you Simone for the update. I am thrilled for the wonderful people who saved Dani, just one more example of the power of speaking out and protesting to the powers that be. The cynical part of me knows that had we not SPOKEN UP the outcome would have been different.

Good for them to listening to the public. If there are organizations that will come in to help these animals, then that should be the first choice. A lot of people don't know how to take care of a wild animal and will do more harm than good. A lot of these people are too lazy to look up in the internet how to care for these animals and if they raise these animals to rely on humans, then they aren't doing these animals any good.

Too stupid to have failed. Like my European friends say, 'the US is a bureaucratic mess.'

What joy! Common sense has prevailed. Yet, they still respond with bureaucratic words to make themselves appear important. They are just human like we all are.

What kind of cretins would prefer killing a young, healthy deer rather than let it go?
Then try to punish th couple who acted like humans with a heart by saving the deer's life.
Makes me want to puke! Thank god for public pressure.
