I don't understand the subterfuge behind this. A tiger and a boy died. It does not make any sense that the survivors would not be willing to tell what happened. Unfortunately, this is human behaviour at its best.

a member of an endangered species is dead yet there is no short supply of a-holes. Tatiana should not have been shot to save their *sses from what they set in motion.

There was supposedly alcohol involved and I think there's no doubt they were teasing the tiger and caused the incident to happen. It's too bad that their stupidity caused such a tragedy.

I agree that more will come out as this unfolds. No one makes a pact of silence unless there hiding something and it's a shame if they provoked a tiger by haressing him. Look what happened their friend is dead and the tiger. I still have trouble believing the tiger jumped that wall and I work with tigers

I just wanted to add that I've seen tigers jump but not that high and the fact is she was living in that habitat for several years and didn't escape. Someone or somebodies are hiding thngs. I think it's sad that a human being had to die. I also, feel bad the tiger had to die. Well I hope we find out the truth one day. I blame the AZA for accrediting zoo if the wall was not the right height. Interestly the AZA is underfire and attaciking private owners of big cats now.
