Ive come to believe that to work for Fox, the Republican Ministry of propaganda, one needs a PhD in Bullshitology. (PhD = piled higher and deeper.) I do watch it from time to time, because it gives me a better appreciation of how the right wing rank and file have become so divorced from reality. When the facts dont fit what they want, Fox makes up their own facts and intentionally lies. Heres an example of what I mean.

Not surprising.

I pity those poor souls that live and breathe by the distortions of truth propagated by an organization that has the effrontery to promote itself as an authentic news organization.

What do you mean Fox lied?? When did they tell the truth? Fox is the dumbing down of America.. and when I hear the words the Fox Network I think of the Jerry Springer show without the class or the honesty.

It makes you wonder why some people need a frontal lobotomy - half the world's population seem to have had one already! Don't know how you manage to watch it TomCat - my blood pressure won't take the strain!

Tell me it isn't so! Do they really lie or are they just pretending to be reporters?

I hope everyone realizes my above comment was "tongue-in-cheek".

We watch faux noise every so often just to see what lie they are telling at that time. Hannity, Coulter, Silly Sarah, Dick Morris, Mindless Michele and the rest of the faux reporters, with their ear plugs telling them what to say and when and always the "right" has the last word. It astounds me that so many people are so misinformed and never take the time to check anything they are told, talk about sheeple. It's no wonder we're in the trouble we are, there IS apparently a dumbing down going on and faux noise viewers are a major contributor to those numbers.

not surprising....I don't ever watch Faux news and everytime I read about it I feel more stupid...fortunately, I can rid my mind of their stupidity and lies rapidly.....another issue that the cons and Faux try to use to divide us...

I am pro-Israel, but I am also Pro-Palestinian state....it seems they already have their own land, lets let them govern and be recognized....and at the same time require them to recognize Israel and guarantee its security, too.

the problem is that unfortunately, I don't think (a) the government of Israel will listen to their citizens who want peace and can't control their radicals and (b) the Palestinian government can't seem to control those feel violence is the answer....

I want to hear the news when Fox tells the truth - that would really make me change my diaper! I'm not so pro-israel, because i'm an atheist - so with subjectivity I only see this particular issue as fox supporting the "conservative" church of amerika, the one that wants to advance and hasten armegeddon's finest hour! meanwhile it would behoove israel to behave and treat its neighbor as it would itself!

....one time a blond applied for work at a gentleman's club. The manager thought she looked "fair and balanced", but too stupid to dance, so he referred her to Fox News. (calm down! It's a joke) THX

It's a real shame that Americans have been brainwashed by this network. I too use to watch the morning news portion just to check it out & it did not take long for me to recognize their lies. I picked it up easily but the ignorant remain so. Most of the rest of their programming is opinion but Americans do not seem to know the difference between a fact & an opinion these days either. I guess ignorance really is bliss after all, huh?

Im so tired of talking about the BS News network. Ive tried to get up a Boycott petition, directed letters too sponsors, removed it from my satellites favorites list, written the FCC individually and as a group, etc. (all to no avail as there is no accumulative guts to take on Such an apparent, BOLD move) over the past Umpteen years. Ive finally accepted the fact, people by in large are to stupid to spit when their being feed shit day after day. Seeking out truth is totally irrelevant, as it requires effort and a desire to know. Easy stupid is good. Easier brain dead is better. Sieg Hail America, what we get we will have earned.

Im way too old to do shit about it anymore, after over 50 years of trying to wake up the dead, to pay attention. Consumers for ever, citizens are dinosaurs, all say a few of the motley crew, extinct. Decades ago we used to have a saying, rave on cat shit and see where it goes. Guess we now know the end of that story, dont we? Cause here we are, signed, sealed, delivered, were theirs. Stupid is as stupid does. Even Forest knew the truth. Im so sorry I failed hold back the BS for my grandkids, I cry sometimes in disbelief and horror at what they will be subjected to. May the gods help us. because as a society were way past the point of return on stupid. Thanks for listening, or bothering to read. Maybe in the next life well pay attention, at least we can hope.

I know I am surprised when I hear that the Ministry of Republican Propaganda (FOX) has lied. It happens so often that when FOX does tell the truth it should make headlines on the Nightly News of all the Real News Outlets.

I do not equate Fox and truth. I do watch it at times, just to see if perhaps they have made some changes, NOT. They are truly the mouth piece of the repub/teabag party. And truth, facts, and realtiy are not what they care about. I try to find the "word or slogan" of the day. It's amazing how easy it is to see this. Are most Americans so stupid they can't see it?

Thanks all. Kudos to Hawkeye. LOL @ HH.

Watching Faux noise on occasion offers several benefits. On any issue, I can take what they say, research the opposite, and find the truth. It updates my list of companies to boycott. If I am constipated before I watch, I'm not afterward.

"If you are drowning 100 ft. from shore, a Democrat will throw you 200 feet of rope and pull you in. A Republican will throw you 50 feet of rope and tell you to take some personal responsibility and swim the rest of the way. A Libertarian may call 911, then put the rope in his car and drive away. A Tea Partier will look around to see if anyone else is watching, if so, the Tea Partier will kneel down and pray."~Walter Turner

a PhD in Bullshitology. (PhD = piled higher and deeper.) TC, is this one your doing? It is histerically funny. ROFLOL!

On the matter of Fox News aka Faux Noise, I have one thing to say, Liar, liar, pants on fire!

I thought that Toner, while taking a while to get there, was very clear the US government feels it is in the best interests of both parties to negotiate. No where did I hear him say a vote for Palestine was a vote against Israel. I do not agree however with their position. I agree that Palestine should be recognised as a separate state. The Palestinian people have every right to self determination, just as the Jews did when Israel was created in 1948. Recognition is just the beginning because then the real work begins setting up laws, infastructure, etc etc.
