Hope your day was quieter Tom....otherwise you'd have to spend the entire day wondering what's in the water in Virginia that turns out so much stupid.

Tom, sorry to hear that you had to go to the hospital. I didn't know you were sick. I have missed your postings. Stay well.

Puzzle 4:08 I was juiced critter crunched and monster mashed! But I love pulpy juice!

NY Times Seems like a big roll of the dice, but I guess "no guts, no glory". I seem to recall that she had a baby just after moving to Yahoo and did some office renos (her cost) so that she could be close to the baby and still work.

Think Progress Stupid is as stupid does! How ANYBODY can vote for these Republican/Teabagger wing nuts is beyond me. I thought Cuccinelli was a bad politician and Virginia AG but Senator Mark Obenshain, who is the GOP nominee for the new AG is just as bad if not worse. This wing nut would see women incarcerated for a miscarriage if she did not report it to the police. And now a second choice E W Jackson. THAT's a choice?

What is in the drinking water in Virginia that makes GOP legislators into such misogynistic and bigoted cretins? A Care2 member in my network has said she is in the process of moving to Virginia. Well, as she said, at least there will be 2 more Democrat votes!

Huffington Post "surreptitiously tucked into budget legislation" my ass! It was purposely put there by Republican/Teabaggers who are only too willing to worship at the altar of big corporations. Here is more about Monsanto is the country called the United States of Monsanto?

Cartoon I don't know what the two originals are that you mention, but on Wikipedia there are a number of stunning pictures. Great modern art! "Hubble"

Welcome back Tomcat.

Signed the petition. This is number 16 I've signed--no, wait, maybe 18--oh, heck, I forget how many. I can tell you right now, however, that the senators from Nebraska will NEVER sign on to this one, Big Ag lackeys that they are . . .

My favorite part of the article was the jigsaw puzzle. Politics is more of a fight to see who wins instead of a group of rational people trying to find reasonable and helpful solutions. I don't like the game of politics. HOW does it seem to attract all the loonies!? And they speak for us and make decisions that affect us!? Frightening!
