Here is the thirty-ninth article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is the The entire NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) for stealing donations from their opponents. I received this in email.

Thanks Tom for the post. This brings back memories of the Nixon (Tricky Dick) administration. Signed the petition earlier through an email alert from PFAW. Read and noted.

Yes, Tricky Dicky set a very low bar for the GOP, which seems determined to push it lower.
I also signed earlier, via e-mail, but thanks.
You will never, I fear, be able to bring this series to a close, as the GOPigs are sooo good at mind-blowing idiocy.

Obviously, there is no level to which the Republicans will not stoop.

As usual, I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the mere fact that this is done by a political party. And then again by the fact that they can get away with it, despite the lamest excuses I've ever heard. No, strike that, they are equally lame to PIGnocchio's. Yes, the never-ending parade passes by again.

Outrageous - these guys keep getting sleazier, if possible! Just when you think they've already stooped as low as possible, they find more dirty deceitful tricks up their sleeves!

I liked the update I got this morning that Google is giving a phishing warning on at least one of them and that at least some are getting their money back. The list was up to 4-5 deceptive sites, too--all women candidates I noted.

Ty tom ...

GOPers have been running this exact same playbook nonsense for decades--since i was a teen [and i'm sure long before...just first observation point.] Recent episode: 2012 elections--received election "checklist" mailer recommending who/what to vote for in in exact format as official state election guide of actual group was buried on a back page in the smallest font size [ie. 6 to 8 pt.] After navigating thru their usual multiple maze search engine layers found name of the publisher [three org name changes later] . . . of course a well known major far right winger, whacko libertarian Tea Party heavy hitter. He & buddies had published the same mailer in different format in previous election as a Tea Party org. Since Tea Party had been exposed in this progressive neck of the woods. . .they simply changed name of org in small print and copycatted official election format. Quite frankly, i don't know why this is news. This is just what they do. They never stopped--it's GOP SOP. The "bankers" that Abraham Lincoln spoke eloquently of during Civil War are now just politically aligned with the Kochtopus, et al [the organizational tenacity behind the latest circus antics.] A lot of the "old money" crowd doesn't really like to be yoked with these new guys and some are having some regrets--but what are pitiful little minority Robber Barons to do?! Political pickin's are slim you know. Gotta stick with your 1 % greedy gut buddies even if you have to hook-up with political mobsters to get the job done. The now re-branded TeaParty fake carny show facades popped up all over the web in early 2,000s (spotted them in 2004--did some quick research on these "deadenders" and the vast majority were all registered to addresses in state of Virginia back then...most offices were within blocks in same city. POINT: If this peon can spot it and know who's playing games within an hour...why don't the pros? They have staffs, budgets and other resources. The political mobsters all use same conglomerate of PR firms as well. Not hard to track.. as media claims...did they not take research 101? This is PUBLIC info...ALL accessible in minutes...not the results of classified or insider connections! I do understand if politics, computers and the web is new to citizens. . .decades of intentional confusion/misinformation must make initial endeavors mind boggling. What I don't understand are the pros who extensive skills and training and quick access to extensive insider networks with deep reservoirs of info available!!!! A whole bunch of media and politicals need to get heads out of socializing sands and get on their J-O-B-S...yesterday!

The old Nixon-moron "I am not a crook" rings in my ears every time I hear of one of these schemes! I am appalled that the FEC has not DONE something about this crap! And that is putting in the most PC way I can. I am so sick of the Teabuggers that I could puke! And there is no sign of it waning EVER!
We just have to go to tried and tested places to volunteer and donate. No one wants to work for a party of the opposite side. And the Rethuglicans are very close to election fraud!!

Yes, I got the same email as JL. You can report them to the US Computer Emergency Readiness Team. One is a man - Ron Barber, the others all women, so far.

Now that you’ve signed our petition to the NRCC demanding they take down the misleading sites (thank you), follow up on that action by taking the next step: File a phishing complaint with Google and with the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT).

Email a complaint to US-CERT at

These are the URLs we know about that we ask you report:

Of course - for every liberal site exposing Republicans, there are two sites exposing Democrat dirty tricks.

Of course, you won't get them listed here - it would be too embarrassing, right?

....thanks for all you do, TomCat......GOP cheating once again obvious to the informed, but too many remain uninformed and of course "mainstream media" will not mention I'm sure....> petition signed........

I think rest of liberal media is starting to catch up with you about Repugs on Parade and relations to 1930s Germany.....heard Thom Hartmann and Mike Pappantonio discussing the very thing earlier today on Thom's radio show......of course, they mentioned that most media likely too hesitant to say this......but NOT TomCat!

I signed it and shared it the other day for private email, thanks Cat Man. And yes, it reminds me of the days of Tricky Dicky. They ARE nothing but crooks and liars....and goose-steppers and jackboots and brownshirts and and and and........wait for it, wait for it........

"The NRCC launched the mock sites to target Democratic candidates they say are “frauds,” …"

From Wikipedia

"Fraud is a deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain (adjectival form fraudulent; to defraud is the verb). As a legal construct, fraud is both a civil wrong (i.e., a fraud victim may sue the fraud perpetrator to avoid the fraud and/or recover monetary compensation) and a criminal wrong (i.e., a fraud perpetrator may be prosecuted and imprisoned by governmental authorities). …"

Based on the definition, the REAL frauds are the Republicanus/Teabaggers who can win no other way than to commit election fraud.

The only good Republicanus/Teabagger is an unemployed Republicanus/Teabagger!

They will stop at nothing to take over the country. They have used gerrymandering to take over Texas and other states as well. In addition, I have heard a mathematician and computer technology specialist who both said that they believed elections have been stolen by tampering with computer voting machines. Thank you for exposing this and for the petition! This is truly frightening. (s, n, p, t)
I flagged the phishing scam.

No Jacob, not right. I would welcome evidence of dirty tricks exposed from BOTH SIDES. Why don't YOU enlighten us with some REAL evidence. By real evidence I of course mean REAL evidence as opposed to mere right wing Faux noise propaganda. I'm waiting.... but I'm not going to hold my breath.

LOL! RepubliCONs are always accusing Democrats of Trying to do what RepubliCONs are Already doing - which is how we know what RepubliCONs are up to! I imagine that is what the troll is referring to - probably from some CONservative Opinion site. ;)
