I’m sure you all know that The Republican Party has murdered Net Neutrality. Yesterday Freya pointed me to a petition to urge Congress to override the decision, which they may do, but I have no realistic hope that the Republican Reich would consider, let alone pass such a measure. Your ISP must tell you if they regulate any content, so read every word of the flood of fine print that’s coming.

So, Eric Idle also weighed in. With some new verses to his old song, "F*** the FCC."

And on Daily Kos, there seem to be some thechies who think there is a workaround. I'm not tech enough to evaluate the info without more considering time than I have to give.

Makes me ill.
I read that New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, has stepped forward with one of the first legal challenges to the commission’s controversial vote, and is suing to stop the FCC’s illegal rollback of net neutrality. I am sure that other states will follow.
You can read it here:

Greed rules again and joins hands with the GOP which can make sure that their base, with less money to spend than ever if they get their way with the tax bill, can’t afford the internet and stays dumbed down.

If revoking net neutrality comes to fruition, I’m sure greed and lobbyists will do their worst and the EU will roll over on its back soon too.

I’m glad the year is almost over. The list of horrors this Drumpf government and Congress have thrown America’s, and the world’s way which the media is going to produce at the end of 2017 is going to be overwhelming and utterly depressing as it is.

News has it that Canada will also feel the heat of this stupid FCC decision . . . sites like Netflix will become more expensive and likely out of reach for many.

Mitch is correct — Bob Ferguson, AG Washington state and Eric Schniederman of New York, have both said they are suing the FCC and the federal government over the plan to repeal net neutrality. Both are quite accomplished at bringing pressure to bear.

I sign every petition I can!

I support net neutrality!!!

Resist, Persist and Remove!!!

Silence is Consent!!!

Then I also, in first comment, have petition to Freya's if you didn't already sign.

So two petitions on that above link. 1) inside Visit Site 2) first comment.

They are so assured of themselves the pass a tax scam and this FCC in quick succession. Perhaps the are correct, maybe the people will never get pissed off enough to tear these jerks off their perches. Trump and Ryan have both stated that Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security is next. They frankly do not even care enough to hide it anymore.

Get it people - they don't care about you, in fact they don't give two sh*ts if you live or die, they are cold, cruel, heartless, so if we don't get off our butts and make calls, write letters, inform the clueless, and get in the streets we might as well kiss our butts goodbye.
