Pictured below is part of one of the last truly pristine tracts of land on the face of this earth. The Alaska National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) is home to hundreds of species that have nowhere left to go. ANWR is on the verge of being opened for drilling, and all it took was for a criminal corporate oil baron to put in a private call to the Pumpkin Pollution Pig!

when all you care about is yourself and "the rapture" you justify "destruction" anywhere, anytime...........and you live in a fear which overlooks your greed and selfishness

tRump was quoted as saying he didn't care what happens to the planet in the future, he'll be dead. Isn't it nice to know how much he cares about his children & grandchildren?

The Orange Ogre needs to be reminded of the maxim that we do not inherit this planet from our parents, we borrow it from our children.

Aww, TomCat, did you have to be so mean to pigs?

A beautiful, glorious land for Nature and animals to live in and thrive, ruined by this man's greed.
It will catch up with all of us too, as corporations will continually strip the land, look at how the rainforest is being stripped away. It boggles my mind, and depresses me greatly at how this stingy mean man gets approval for something like this. Hell is too good for them all, imho.

I've signed so many times for this it's a wonder I don't have writer's cramp (if I'd had to use a pen, I would.) The only strategy I can see that has the slightest chance is tying this up on the courts long enough to get a regime change, and even if that's feasible, it requires money - which we don't have. (If anyone does have a few bucks to spare, Friends of the Earth is one good group. There are others.)

I signed this petition Freya and so many more. I'm afraid that as long as Drumpf and his minions are in charge, there will be no end to his destruction. We must continue to Resist and Persist.
Thank you TomCat.

Beautiful picture. Every word that comes out of tRump's mouth is a lie. He cares only for himself. He shall pay for all of his sins.I just can't wait till the Truth Bomb hits the W. H. and tRump and his jokers will all be gone. Thanks TomCat

I’ve had my fill of disgusting for today, I think. First the reminder of the promise to make drilling in the ANWR possible to Lisa Murkowski for her vote on the Tax Plan, something that had disgusted me no end at the time.

Now the open admission that a phone call from a billionaire friend was enough to have Drumpf put it on his agenda; not because he even know what it was but because “Ronald Reagan and every president has wanted to get ANWR approved” (except of course for Obama who called a permanent ban on Arctic drilling in December 2016) and now he got it: another win over Obama! And of course Drumpf presents it as his achievement now, but that habitual behavior no longer disgusts me, just makes me a little queezy.

Drumpf and the Republicans will destroy ANWR, and then rest of the world, although that may take them a little longer. And the most disgusting thing is that there’s nothing we can do against it once they’ve started drilling.

I agree with all-they are dangerous and so much more. the orange devil will destroy y all that he can because he is a green piece of dreck.

I would appreciate it though if people (TomCat) did not call him a pig.It is not pigs how are destroying our planet but humans and being more of an animal person than a people person It is disrespectful to call out the faults of people by calling them different animals. Is this related to the topic at hand? No, pigs re peaceful, intelligent-more so than the government - and not destructive so leave them out of the problems people create.
