LWTC: I just got done watching this earlier this morning.

Good Lord! John did a great job reporting this. I d/not know about any of it, nor the facts behind the death investigations, the lack of education working in this field, nor the people behind this. I was completely caught off guard on how our dead is treated.
Call me stunned !!! Passing this vid on too...wow!

Cartoon: Horrible! In this climate, this is what racists do best! ugh!

Get all the rest you need, Tom. I'll wait. lol
Do take good, good care of yourself, and enjoy your day. Thanks for post, Tom.

*This just in: "Bogus Potus is threatening Iran because of a Faux News segment. This guy has access to the entire CIA, and all he does is watch Fox News. Iran d/no want war. DT wants war to deflect his ongoing investigations." ~ Lydia S. ~

4:01 Here, it's raining, dark, and cold.

John - It's said that it was Edgar Allen Poe who invented the detective story, and at least two of his involved death. But the speed with which they became pooular suggests that the market was already there, just waiting to be tapped into. Of course people are interested in death investigations! That's probably why so many unqualified people are even interested in running for coroner. As to privatization, I don't need to beat that horse any more here. We all know what a ratf- privatization is. But, back to my original point, I would think a superior recruiting tool in order for us to get enough candidates to train to be medical examiners would be to advertise training programs in detective novels, in theaters showing detective movies, and on television detective shows. Seriously. There are people out there reading and watching detective stories, pining for a life that exciting. Some of them would jump at the chance if they only knew they would be employable.

Cartoon - I expect you were too young to be at that one.

RESIST AND PERSIST !!!

We spend gazillions on "defense" but can't keep death investigation labs properly funded? A refrigerator closed with a belt? A garage with one light bulb? Hairdressers examining corpses? Our society is sick, sick, sick.

Get your rest, eat your vegetables (and tuna?), and get feeling better, TC.

WTF???

John Oliver is serious isn't he, that vid isn't a JOKE, right???

So this means that soon you'll find out that that Purdue CEO's are doing autopsies on opioid death kadavas!!!

How much of your taxes does your government spend on defence & Mar-A-Lago?!?!?!

😵 🤯 😱

Get some rest, TomCat. Healing takes a little longer at our age, so don’t worry.

John Oliver has to wait until hubby has finished working tonight; thanks for posting from the both of us.

John Oliver: Great video. I like Pat was unaware of these death investigations.
Sure hope you get some sleep tonight. You need it to help you recover faster.
Take care. Thanks TomCat
