Many of the world's problems are so intractable that it's hard to think of ways even to take steps towards mitigating them. The Israel-Palestine conflict is not one of these. On the contrary, the general outlines of a diplomatic solution have been clear

What makes this so worthy of note is that Israel is among the most humane and free countries on the planet. Moreover, it is the only country in the world that is threatened with annihilation. ( there are more than 50 Muslim countries, there is only one Jewish one) .
This is the only time in history when people in free countries have sided with a police state against a free state........ One cannot name any time in modern history — the only time in history when there have been free societies — when, in a war between a free state and a police state, the free state was deemed the aggressor. That’s because it never happened before Israel vs its enemies.

Noam Chomsky is a thorough researcher, who pulls together his facts, and provides an analysis that can only be extremely unpopular with those who unconditionally support pro-Zionist perspectives and Israeli policies and strategies. I've never seen him so tired and depressed as he spells out his message.

The public interview also merits watching Noam Chomsky at United Nations: It Would Be Nice if the United States Lived up to International Law

Thanks Wild, for drawing attention to these two videos

Noam Chomsky a great thinker and always one to clearly tell it like it is. It is unfortunate that those who should be viewing this video will not do so. Thank you for doing your part to place factual historical information out on C2 with the affect of how this plays out today.

The US is a free state that was an aggressor to all the Native Americans.

Most colonial imperialist nations have at some time been aggressors around the world to indigenous peoplesso free is sort of aggressive over-statement.
