The bizarre spectacle of Trump's candidacy has one word on everyone's mind: 'Fascism.'

Obviously laws to protect the innocent aren't needed on the dark side where where nothing is seen but the fear of the dark. We are already there but it can get more open and worse all the time fueled by lies, misrepresentation, disinformation, pure propaganda, all things perfected in the CIA to use against other countries now being used at home. He's from the business dictatorship environment and schooled in the profit motive to be rich and powerful.

Glad to see the GOP is further distancing itself from T-Rump, a.k.a. Limpbaugh-on-steroids. Going out on a limb to predict that Mr. Fascist will either exit the GOP or get booted, and end up "going rogue" as an Independent.....(although he should just create the Fascist Party). The GOP will then crown their nominee, and the GOP will be split, paving the way for a Dem to win----banking on Bernie!

I am getting sick of even reading his name in a news article.

What is even more scary than Trump is that there are a lot of people wiling to vote for him! I find this rather frightening.

The whole Trump campaign has been a performance that is straight out the early 20th Century he is has a trademark pout - which demonstrates his argumentum ex culo precisely. In virtually every statement he has made has been fact checked and found to be at best mostly false. Still, the others have certainly been equally consistent in being fact free. The whole clawing back of apparent American greatness seems to be at the cost of any freedoms. Having seen his behavior after being questioned on any matter he launches into attack mode, shows his Imperial mindset - it will only be a matter of time before he goes around in a toga and demands to be worshiped as a God.

Herr Trump understands recent history enough that he has adopted some of the tactics of AH from his families cultural homeland in the 30's. Before his time yes, but not outside his awareness. There is a part of me that believes he is doing all this for his own entertainment and just wants to see how far he can push it with the American electorate. He'll keep it up for as long as he gets attention and his brand is advanced.

By far more troubling are his supporters and followers that seem hungry for more. We have some serious unresolved issues. He is doing a good job of bringing the signs and symptoms of our social ills to the surface. A flag is not the wind, but reveals its force and the direction from which it blows. All is not well in the land of milk and honey.

Our own religious right has given tacit approval to the feeble minded and unstable in their ranks to act on enforcement actions with the tools of hate they provided. One of them achieved national prominence at a clinic in Colorado. More to come...........distracted by religious zealots from overseas, we give our own the room they need.

The Donald is nuts and most people who study politics, candidates and the issues understand this. I do not fear the"lover of Mussolini's ways", I fear the idiots on the streets of America who think he is on target with his beliefs. You will not convince his followers to listen to reason and truth. Thanks to the Republicans for allowing the world to view their real beliefs and to witness their actions, which in Congress has been no action. It will be very interesting to watch this play out. How will we Americans repair our image to the world?

I can't stand any of the GOP candidates. None of them would make a worthy POTUS. If the GOP gains control of both Congress and the Oval Office, it will be a disaster.

There only one worthy candidate among the republican presidential hopefuls in my view and that is John Kasich. He embodies the characteristics of a sober, and earnest Politian. He is absent the sparkles and colorful sprinkles, but then again that's what we have hollywood for. He is by far the least disingenuous of the bunch. The rest of them are malignantly egocentric and don't even have regard for their own party virtues. Their interest is in promoting their own agenda, that of their inner circle, followed by the highest bidder.

Good luck America, which poison apple will get the electoral bite?
