The death rate for white Americans aged 45 to 54 has risen sharply since 1999, but Montana officials wrestle to explain why the state has the highest rate of suicide in the US at nearly twice the national average - and it's rising

Probably anti-baby boomer social security pressure to save government money so it can be used to promote wars instead.

True it is obvious, they need to buy more lottery tickets but don't have the money to do it. Heck they can't even afford the lawyers to file for bankrupcy! Some people can't even afford the bullets so commit suicide and do it by cop by pointing their finger at them.
But this age group is the only one a few years back I read of a town in California where parents patrolled the railroads to prevent teenagers jumping in front of trains. I'm not sure it has reached Mt Fuji suicide forest levels yet or not?

Noted. Thanks, Wilde.
Yes, the government that is supposed to be 'for the people' is really just 'for the 1%.' It's been obvious that the system has been broken for decades, and well past time for that darn pendulum to start swinging the other way!
