Yes, too little, too late. All those in the US Congress who voted "for the war", did not actually vote to go to war; they simply gave the Shrub the power to make the decision, hoping he would not. Be that as it may, he did go to war, and all those responsible should be held accountable. Thanks for the post, Wilde.

(Having tech issues here today).
As the article stated, these "mistakes" will be made over and over and over again. Depressing.
We need a massive worldwide movement against these continual wars. It needs to be even stronger than the protests re Occupy against the Financial Sector. Those who got us all into this mess need to be charged, fined and prosecuted.

I'm having tech issues too, perhaps originating from this post. Unable to respond with stars and also having all internet access blocked.

I feel that since WWII we have unconditionally surrendered to the profit of power! After profiting for years off of the Cold War which even Brzezinski states was only and excuse for full spectrum dominance of the world not any actually threat from communism, we cannot live without permanent war economics.

And the war on terror is the replacement for the cold war as the new multi-national corporate colonizing excuse.
