If any of these bills pass through congress, then it would put President Obama in the precarious position of either signing or vetoing moves, which would then have high impact on the ground in an already volatile and anxiety-stricken Middle East.

Well I hope the AMERICANS do not vote for a REPUBLICAN in any form of office.

Are there really 16,880,628 members doing good in Care2?

Why are we only limited to answering one poll?

President Obama is still inexperienced and holding the highest office in America.

There is absolutely no contrary existing evidence that provides any proof whatsoever, that negates my first statement as being changed in any given way ....

So therefore in light of these facts, I feel in no way safer about our possible future under this set of circumstances, which shall evolve whether we like it or not, as they translate into real actions coming from Obama's policy-making decision-writing pen.

How about in light of these facts:

Pulitzer-Prize Winning Author Casts Grim View Of Obama's Leadership - White House in Turmoil @ Telegraph UK

Or take our challenge here:

"Obama's Fate Along The Road To 2012 Beneath A Negative Light" @ Before It's News

Should we all feel much safer for our future now???

Obama! The poor man is between a rock and a hard place BUT, I would imagine his life has been one of difficult choices from the start. Maybe he will find a way forward where no-one else could because of his background. Let's see how President Obama handles the situation. This may be his greatest hour.

Good Luck Mr President! I may not have been fully supportive of you before, but I am now.

Perhaps President Obama is wooing the Jewish American voters and that would explain his wishy-washy flip flop Middle East policy(s)!?!?

It would at least be more rational in my opinion, to have President Obama step-down out of the 2012 election race, in order to allow more experienced and realistically viable Democratic Party candidates to go forward in his place.

Sending a Green Star is a simple way to say "Thank you"

... Ohh that's right, President Obama is still the underdog ... OOoops please pardon me ...

And so we should vote for him in 2012 ... Because of why???

Please remind me, because I can find no hard evidence to substantiate that type of decision making.

I had thought he was bought by Iran. But if he had been, he would not have had the courage to stand for Israel.

Maybe he's just star crossed and inexperienced,.

He's still dangerous.

Perhaps I am naive, but I see statehood as a good thing for Palestine and for Israel. If the Palestinians think they are ready to be treated like grownups lets see it. If new attacks are mounted from Palestine on Israel it will be an act of war by one state against another giving Israel the green light for unrestrained retaliation. That threat should be enough to encourage the new state to take responsibility to prevent new or continued attacks on Israel. If Palestine is grownup and thinks it can handle the ball, I just hope it is right, for the sake of all. I say best of luck, be responsible and do not let us down. And then, Turkey is much more important to the US and that is where our focus should be. On the flip side, you need to try control events and not just respond to events around you.

Well myself I agree with Pink on Obama flip flopping and the fact he may be trying to pull back some Jewish votes..too little too late IMHO!! As far as the Palestinians growing up....I would have liked to see them grow up BEFORE they get their state...what they have proven to me so far they have acted like spoiled brats who threw a tantrum and go on a murder spree when they don't get their way....makes me wonder what will happen after they get their way if that would be the case! Obama has put himself in this predicament all by himself..he could have come out right from the start and defended Israel like the other Presidents have done but he decided to side by a nation with terrorists (Hamas)...I don't feel sorry for him!

I admit that a world war could always start in the Middle East under the best of circumstances, but what if a president is legislating with a tendency toward attracting 2012 Jewish voter objectives is in their mind-set!?!??

Precarious situation at best!!

Yep, his flop back is just an attempt to try and gain back the Jewish votes he lost. Too little too late. His administration has done none more than add more fuel to the fire in the middle east.

Boxed in my foot. Be a President, make your position clear, and stand by your convictions. Are you going to listen to Bill Clinton for goodness sake? What power does he hold anymore in the Democratic Party?

Whoops, caught in another disengenious lie. No, not us in the land of inconsistentcy and contradictions.

Make everyone happy, seal off a geographic area, fence them in give 'em all all the guns and ammo they can use.Neither side has a genuine interest in a peacefull solution and we don't care either, we just want to consume their resources. We can then all stand in judgement in the afterlife. Until then, what a reality show:

Obama has been trying to fly a lead balloon in the Middle East. Wearing his Muslim credentials, he spent the first part of his presidency telling the Muslim world how horrible the U.S. is (and by inference, how wonderful he is), and I'm sure he's just so proud of himself now, they believed that the U.S. is really horrible. They took that ball he fumbled and have been running with it ever since. As for appearing wonderful in their eyes, they hate him even more, giving him some of the lowest ratings in the polls ever.

They look at him and see a butt-kissing moron. (He bowed so low to the Saudi King, that may not have been all he was kissing.) And Mr. Inexperienced Obummer's presidential team forgot to mention that Arabs look at dissing your own country kind of crap as weakness.

This guy deserves the Nobel Piss Prize, for pissing away our money, our security, our space program, and our allies and credibility in the Middle East.

He took the bust of my personal hero, and hero of presidents, a man who alone in a world of fascism, stood up to Nazi Germany and Hitler and said we will not bow down to you, and President O'bummer pissed that away to and returned it to the Brits.

Mr. Hussein O'Bummer, Piss Prizer, joined the ranks of the Islamofascists, appointing Muslim Brotherhood, anti-democratic agents in his administration. He's been sitting hard on the only democracy and stalwart ally we have and trying to cripple them. Please, God, let this country and Israel, survive this presidency.

Thanks Pink Mindy for explaining this difficult situation so elequently. There has not yet been a president that has been able to broker a peace between Israel and Palenstine, though many have tried. Why damn Obama for a least trying yet again? I would damn him if he didn't.

Obama owns it now and it's unfortunately his 'bag of worms', but he was the one that signed-on as president and he accepted the mantle of responsibility.

Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld have been gone a very long time now = 2 years 8 months.

The White House is in perpetual Republican/Obama grid-lock and that might mean we could be doomed if things get really nasty in the Middle East!?!?

PinkMindy Ellinwood (567)

Only one with your irrational bias would think and call 2 years , eight months "a very long time". It takes longer to grow things than to chop them down, and Bush had eight long years at us with his axe.

PinkMindy Ellinwood (567)
Wednesday September 28, 2011, 7:39 pm

So if President Obama could have never resolved anything in adequate time, then what was up with ...

"Yes We Can" ...

Perpetual grid-lock has turned it into ...

"Nope We Can't" ...

And if anyone including Obama ever believed that he could change Washington D.C., then they were just as naive as he was!!

PinkMindy Ellinwood (567)

What would an adequate or appropriate time be for me, you might ask?

It would be in advance of an economic collapse with the middle-class laid waste and not enough jobs available to make the money to feed our families ... Definitely before that!

Do you feel that perhaps he will change Washington D.C. by October 2012, when federal spending and tax hikes will most likely converge and who can tell when a government shutdown could accelerate the process.

The worst congress with the worst president at the helm (a growing opinion) ... what worse combination could we conjure up!?!?

There is no worse nightmare imaginable!!
