Problem with a third party vote is it may well give Obama another four years. Not a good thing to split them this year. Get him out first and then look around.

Simple Equation:

Republicans = Democrats = U.S. Congress = Lobbyists = Special Interest Groups = Obama.

Stop self-protectionism of the Left and the Right.

Who else is running for the Green Party nomination? I looked on their website and there isn't any mention. In any case, a Green Party candidate has no chance of winning. They have had some minimal success at the local level but very little at the state level and none at the federal level. Even given a miracle that a Green Party candidate won the presidency, they would be stymied at every turn by a congress composed entirely of the opposition. Might get some Democrat support but, the Republicans would throw everything at them even worse than they do against Obama. Until the Green Party starts getting people elected to congress, running someone for President is no more than a PR exercise.

Rogers right..but nice try, although I consider this ploy almost as shady as what the Koch brothers are trying to do in subverting the election process when it come to anyone yhey feel are a threat..this may very well be a great woman, but shes definately not a viable candidate.
Will you swear your going to vote for her?
I didn't think so.
Again, nice try, but you severly underestimate the intelligence of the 99%!
And yo Donald..yes, you're right of course..but let those votes be informed votes, not ballots cast by sheeple that don't have all the "real facts" those hopefully few that would fall for this type of hype, so lets add "get educated" to "get out and vote"!

Sounds good.

But so did that guy Herman Cain in the beginning.
He's so "Say it like it is" "just blurt it out" that he's got a lot of us enjoying
the change. BUT, you have to speak words of wisdom or you're just
another fool.

We'll see.

I like what I've seen so far.

Right-Wing Sock Puppets Pretending to Be Liberals Assault Progressive Websites [New]

'At one time, some of the ‘tells’ of the right-wing ‘sock puppet’ troll was their use of terms such as ‘DemoRATS’ or ‘Demonrats’ for Democrats, and their repeatedly calling Obama ‘Obummer,’ ‘Obomber’ or ‘Obomba.’ But they’ve mostly changed that language as actual progressives began to notice those repeated constructions and the fetid and simpleminded opinions attached to them. Some current ‘tells’ are when they don’t mention the GOP at all, or claim both parties are just as ‘evil,’ or try to shut down the conversation with insults, or PUSH READERS TO VOTE FOR ANY THIRD PARTY, or say that they’d rather vote for a Republican than a Democrat, or make statements with no factual basis, or refer you to a right-wing website to ‘confirm’ their assertions.'

'Our only protection against such ersatz assaults is to use our heads and common sense: if someone is a little ‘too’ enraged at Obama and the Democrats, be suspicious, especially if they never talk about Republicans. Ask them a couple of polite intelligent questions on the comment thread’s topic; if they respond by condemning or insulting you for questioning them rather than engaging you, they’re likely a sock-puppet troll; it’s in their nature to consider any question or disagreement as tantamount to treason.
Also, if they keep reposting basically the same idea in one comment thread, they’re probably a sock-puppet troll; they’ve been instructed by their masters that repetition works. And don’t be swayed if they accuse you of being a ‘shill’ or ‘troll’ for questioning them — they are trained to do that.

One thing I can tell from this discussion is that there is something wrong with American democracy. The electoral system makes it almost impossible to make a real change in the way politics work, as the emergence of third parties is purposely inhibited, and the spectrum within the two main parties is not wide enough. In many aspects, the main political parties don't reflect what the citizens actually think.
