Well that will do it. At least it was so fast he wouldn't have suffered.

Wow - I have no comment about this as I'm stunned and I feel the method of execution was overkill.

North Korea is today's ultimate failed state. Forget Somalia; that is Toytown compared to this place. Although I am an admirer of Socialism as an abstract concept, I will readily admit that, as a practical system of governance, Communism has failed. [OK, Cuba survives and still functions, in spite of the vicious 50-year blockade by the US]. DPRK has a population of 25m which it can barely feed yet aspires to a space programme and the possession of nuclear weapons. The military comprises more a million individuals. For failing to mourn the passing of Kim Jong-Il with sufficient histrionics, a man can be sent to a "Re-Education" camp along with his family where they will inevitably die in forced labour. His children are of no use as workers so they will be executed before their parents' eyes. The litany of atrocities goes on and on. It could be reasonably argued that Kim Choi got off lightly.

Hey, it's Eva-Braun-wannabe Paula of Paula's News submitting yet another Nazi pseudo-Christian false propaganda piece to Care2.

It is so easy to make these unverifiable assertions, especially about North Korea a state despised by most. I would like to know from whence the news emanated and the verifiable source, especially as even the C I A has difficulty getting reliable information from that "Enclosed" country.

In war the first casualty is truth. With N Korea it seems internally and externally we don't even wait for a war.

It's hell being a "Skeptic."

Thanks Paula. It sounds like the sort of thing that would happen in North Korea.
Ignore the clueless nut-jobs who wouldn't recognize the truth if it bit them on the bum.

I would think even a mortar round would leave some mess and not "erase every trace" ...still it would have been quick !!

What a bunch of nutballs. Quite frankly, why China continues to support this failed state is beyond me.
