Obama did an interview with CBS' Steve Kroft on the night of September 12th and the first question is about why he didn't call it terrorism in his Rose Garden statement that day.

From the article:

As Fox News' Brett Baier points out, that directly contradicts Obama's pre-planned statement during the second debate with Romney. You know, the one where hacktastic Candy Crowely vouched for Obama's lie.

Thanks Paula. Obama already knew that the attack was planned, Stevens begged for support & so did Clinton. The warnings had come from Libya, Lebanon and Turkey. In other words Obama hung out Ambassador Stevens and the embassy staff to dry!

It is also known that the 4 Libyans would not fire on brother Muslims and, I saw somewhere, that some of the attackers said, "Don't shoot, we have come from Morsi". That Ambassador Stevens was killed and raped is a matter of record but it seems that he may have been wanted by some as a bargaining chip. Obama failed his ambassador just as he failed Americans who he should have protected.

I believe that Obama should be impeached and tried for treason. He has handed over the welfare of America and American to Muslims and foreigners.!

A scandal and a shameful way to treat the USA's public servants.

Of course, for Obama to admit that Al Qaeda had been defeated meant that he couldn't "insult" Libya by suggesting that Al Qaeda actually existed there, since the Obama administration did such a great job "liberating" Libya. It would have belied his and Clinton's claims.

Thanks for posting, Paula.

I saw on VIDEO Obama the next morning in the Rose Garden announcing IT WAS AN ACT OF TERROR. with the little information that came from a Sovereign country --(not our own) in a internal war 6000 miles away.
Apparently, that wasn't clear enough for the dumbed-down republicans out there....maybe he should have said it slower like .... I T W A S A N A C T OF T E R R O R and repeated it several times cause once isn't apparently enough....
Then to boot----Republican Darrell Issa didn't want ANY secrets so he revealed secret-documents that put other's in jeapordy ....with the stupidity that comes from wanting to get back at Obama. .

YOU DIDN'T GET MAD
You didn't get mad when we spent over 800 billion (and counting) on said illegal war.

You didn't get mad when Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources than the previous 42 Presidents combined.

You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars in cash just disappeared in Iraq.

You didn't get mad when Bush embraced trade and outsourcing policies that shipped 6 million American jobs out of the country.

You didn't get mad when they didn't catch Bin Laden.

You didn't get mad when Bush rang up 10 trillion dollars in combined budget and current account deficits.

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.

You didn't get mad when we gave people who had more money than they could spend, the 1%, over a trillion dollars in tax breaks.

You didn't get mad with the worst 8 years of job creations in several decades.

You didn't get mad when over 200,000 US Citizens lost their lives because they had no health insurance.

You didn't get mad when lack of oversight and regulations from the Bush Administration caused US Citizens to lose 12 trillion dollars in investments, retirement, and home values in the Wall Street crash.

You finally got mad when a black man was elected President, and decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, job losses by the millions, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, and the worst economic disaster since 1929 are all okay with you, but helping fellow Americans who are sick... Oh, Hell No!

Janice B., if President Obama really called it an "act of terror" in the Rose Garden (and it requires a very generous interpretation of his speech to make it so) then why did he then refuse to call it an act of terror a few hours later during the CBS interview?

Your racemongering, by the way, is contemptible.

The White House left those Americans to die deliberately. The situation room was watching from a drone in real time, the whole time. Help was denied three times. You can cut the POTUS's words any which way you like- but the representative of the USA was cut down most cruelly and his brave defenders lost their lives as well. Shameful!
