I hope all the people responsible are caught and punished. The poor Katrina survivors, haven't they lost enough? And they're still ignored by the government. sometimes the big "manly" men seem to like to hurt the toy breeds.

Absolutely atrocious. I hope the perpetrators get jail time.

Personally, I'm not as much concerned for the owners as I am for the pets themselves. My cats are my last family, and I've seen too many dogs and cats go over the years. I also know the suppressed brutality among some in the law enforcment community. It's pitiful either way.

I saw this report on NBC...I hope all the people responsible are found and prosecuted to the highest extent of the law...which is unfortunately never high enough for the damage it caused.
