A thought-provoking article - There's a great deal of truth in the fact that the media only focus on "sensational" human trafficking (i.e. sex trade), and also that far from all "trafficking" involves crossing borders.

And it is important to remember that having LAWS is of limited value if one doesn't have extensive training of all those who should be playing some role in application of the Law ... this should be integrated in basic training, and any on-the-job refresher courses, not just special training for a selected few ...
