I've always thought it ridiculous for politicians (or religions) to try to regulate who you can love. From that point of control, it's only a small step for them to tell you who you can marry - even of the opposite sex. There once was law against interracial marriages, and I understand that it is still illegal in a number of states. I think Law should pay a lot more attention to preventing majority agreed-on crimes and a lot less time trying to run every one's sex life. The GOP has an obsession with wombs, I've never been able to understand why they are so focused on every fetus, but have no interest in the child or the mother once the child is born!
