The Americans viewed the request, which was transmitted (and rejected) at the highest level, as a sign that Israel is in the advanced stages of preparations to attack Iran. They therefore warned Israel against attacking, saying such a strike would under

A Big Thank you to Project Camelot for making this information available to the public on 15 August 2008.

http://www.projectcamelot.net/index.html

(excerpt from Project Camelot on this news)

What's interesting about the article is this:

"..U.S. National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen both visited here in June and, according to the Washington Post, told senior Israeli defense officials that Iran is still far from obtaining nuclear weapons, and that an attack on Iran would undermine American interests. Therefore, they said, the U.S. would not allow Israeli planes to overfly Iraq en route to Iran.

The Americans sent a similar message to Iraq, which had objected vociferously to the idea of its air space being used for an Israeli attack on Iran.

These private messages were accompanied by a series of leaks from the Pentagon that Israel interpreted as attempts to thwart any possibility of an attack on Iran. For instance, the Americans revealed details of a major Israel Air Force exercise in the Mediterranean; they also said they doubted Israel had adequate intelligence about Iran's nuclear facilities. In addition, Mullen spoke out publicly against an attack on Iran.

Two weeks ago, Barak visited Washington for talks with his American counterpart, Robert Gates, and Vice President Richard Cheney. Both conversations focused on Iran, but the two Americans presented conflicting views: Gates vehemently opposes an attack on Iran, while Cheney is the administration's leading hawk..."

The question here is, if McConnell is in place to counter anything Bush/Neocons do at this point, then McConnell's faction is poised to oppose the illuminati (Rothschilds) agenda to take down America (see Hawkeye's testimony below)... and will be well aware of the October plans in the works... And to therefore, possibly prevent them.

Is that the way it is playing out? Is McConnell stepping up to the plate (along with Gates who is also MJ if you recall...)

In a sense a coup has already happened (another one! the death of JFK being the first one we are aware of though there may have been more before aka death of Lincoln for one...). This would be a good thing for America and a sign of hope on the horizon.

This is one time and people America do not want to go against and that is Israel, For if bush is smart and knows his history or the Bible we had better be for them than against them for they will not loose for these are Gods choose people and this will remaine even into this geranation into all geranations as it quotes. This is preety scary stuff here but why worry if it happens it going to happen anyway. Thanks Gregory.

If we really want to stop war, we must get off of the tit of oil. The world has just transferred a majority of wealth to Islamic extremists. As the oil goes up in price, we transfer billions of dollars to their cause. We are funding war every time we fill up our gas tanks. If we want to change it, we must change our buying habits.

The problem with the Middle East--or whatever we call it now-- is both Islam and Israel believe they are "chosen." They fight over blood. Islam was founded by a warlord and the Old testament in the Bible is bloody, racist and downright evil--Jehovah is a demon god. The results of these racist viewpoints are self-evident.

2 racist religions side-by-side result in thousands of years of war. There is no winning when people believe they are chosen, special and entitled by blood. If I recall, the Nazis believed the same thing. It's a disgusting belief system. People who believe such things create an image of an anthropomorphic "god" and pin all of their cultural and tribal hatreds onto "him" or "her". Their hatred and racism has NOTHING to do with God.

They love war. If they didn't, they would stop. The problem is both sides believe they are right, and suffer from hallucinations, delusions of grandeur, and a hatred of all that is not like them. If you are not Jewish blood, you are not chosen. If you are not Islam, you are not chosen...Ishmael or Abraham...who gives a rat's ass. Both sides are violent and neither are on the side of God. Islam is scarier because they believe in killing infidels--just read their extreme doctrines. It's all brainwashing, just like the Nazis brainwashed people into murdering their neighbors. These beliefs don't work.
They result in human suffering. I have read the Bible and the Koran and both are fatally flawed. Jesus Christ's teachings are excellent and you can ditch the rest.--Love your neighbor as yourself. Does Israel or Islam love its neighbors? What "god" do they serve? Sounds like the god of vengeance if there is such a thing.

Before the time of the moshiach, there shall be war and suffering (Ezekiel 38:16)

The moshiach will bring about the political and spiritual redemption of the Jewish people by bringing us back to Israel and restoring Jerusalem (Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 23:8; 30:3; Hosea 3:4-5). He will establish a government in Israel that will be the center of all world government, both for Jews and gentiles (Isaiah 2:2-4; 11:10; 42:1). He will rebuild the Temple and re-establish its worship (Jeremiah 33:18). He will restore the religious court system of Israel and establish Jewish law as the law of the land (Jeremiah 33:15).

Muslims believe that Shariah is not something the intelligence of man can prove wrong, it is only to be accepted by humans, since it is based on the will of Allah. Muslims see their religion and government being ordained by Allah. It is their conviction that Islam is intended to be the religion of all mankind. It is to be the universal religion to replace Judaism, Christianity, and all others. While Muslims may deny it, they are willing to replace other religions first by conversion, then suppression and even armed conflict. In the Philippines, there is a growing Muslim population that is agitating for the institution of Islamic law. They have not hesitated to use violence to try to implement their beliefs.

Muslims claim that there is freedom of religion under Shariah. When Islam gains a strong representation in the population, they want to impose Shariah on everyone, since they believe that it is the only law that comes directly from Allah.

Muslims say Ishmael was Abrahamís true heir and that the record in the Bible was corrupted to show Isaac as the heir. Because of this claim, they also say Israel has no exclusive right to the land of Palestine.

Since the Qurían points to Isaac being the heir of Abraham, Muslims cannot say that Israel has no place in Palestine.

So give it up guys. Let it go!

Hi Luarel W., I don't think either religions Islam Judaism Christiniaty are evil,, and I certainly do not believe Jehovah is demon :)..his indeed God, the Creator, the Almighty and the source of all that is good. But YOU ARE RIGHT about people, Jews (I am a Jew) and Muslims and Christians claiming to be the true chosen people and using evil and doing evil to promote THEIR agenda, and "give it up guysl. Let it go!" is the correct bottom line.

GROW UP! ALL OF YOU...

I remember the constructed "reason" to attack Irak. An arranged 9/11 made it possible. And mass destruction weapons... We know the story. Now it is Iran. I do not know if there are nukes. But one thing I know. Prophecies say that WWIII will start by a man with a beard, that steps into a trap made for him. Sounds like a muslim. This war in that area must be prevented under any condition. My motto is give and get, not put more pressure till the last optionial path is a war.

Dear Tal-
I didn't say the entire religion is evil but if one were to follow the Old testament of the Koran, it results in murder because some of the writings are filled with contempt of other religions and people. People do evil things. However there are some characters in the religions that justify murder. Certainly "Jehovah" is one of them.
Obviously Christ was a good guy. But the Romans made him a diety in 325 AD at the council of Nicea and many people went and did evil things in his name--attributing their actions to him and therefore God. Pope Innocent threw 200 non believers to their death because they wouldn't pay the Catholic Church and said, "Kill them all and let God sort them out." Christ had a very solid philosophy of love. Buddha's philosophy is even stronger.

And yes, Jehovah is war-like anthropomorphic "god" made up by humans. Murdering in the name of God is evil and the Old Testament promotes it.
There were 12,000 non-believers murdered at Jericho in the name of Jehovah. "God" has nothing to do with humans murdering each other and if there is such a thing as blasphemy, it is projecting destructive human attributes onto higher power. Humans make a God that is like a human and therefore it must hate and murder. I'm just calling it like it is. They then say it is te true word of God so they can control others. Most religions do this and they can't all be right. Religion is a distinctly human phenomenon. Maybe something made up to help make sense of a universe humans don't understand and to keep the group together. --just doesn't work with groups edging up too close to each other. --All the one true religions end up fighting.

Love is the only law and if humans stick to that it can all work out. The proof is self-evident. If these were religions of peace there would be peace. Take the words of Christ and Buddha about love and run with them. There will be no peace as long as people follow the Old Testament, the Torah or the Koran and many other "one true religions" that preach they are the center of truth and follow the 1 true teaching and that all others are wrong. It is childish to say the least and certain results follow. I am tolerant of religion and do not believe in killing other belief systems. I don't have to convert the world to "my" god. I consider live and let live religious tolerance...I don't have to convert them to anything. I just wish they'd stop killing each other and I know there's little hope of that as long as they believe they are right and have to convert others to be like themselves.

Ralph W Prophecies are given to warn ppl they are not carved into stone (even if they were i'd say the same thing) regarding the guy with a beard,

Instead of adding more up power to a prophecy that is made 2000 years ago, it is best for us to believe/say that he is smart and wise enough to not step into a trap made for him.

That's a bunch of Biblical hooey! That we better be FOR Israel than against them. Hooey patooey! The reasons (in the Bible) for the war and bloodshed that's going on is due to NOT following the commandments, and rejecting the true 'Word of God', who updated the Commandments to include two more commandments which the other ten follow. Love God with all of your heart...and your neighbors as you love yourself.

(How can you love God, yet hate your brother? And don't give me some wacko religion that hold woman as the original temptress! Hogdung! A man better be responsible for what thoughts go mushing around in his brain and not blame a woman for his perverse, animal nature!)

When people start living the 'Word' as it was given, then we wouldn't have this nonsense going on. Any country and people that lives by the sword will die by the sword. If you truly abide by the Commandments, which another one is...that you shouldn't kill...what is so freaking hard to understand?
I'll follow a rebel who tells us to love our enemy, rather than to kill him, any day over a bunch of religious fanatics who want to bring about the prophecy of some ones nightmare revelation!

Love & Peace
The Truth is in the Doing

Mel...I strongly agree with you. This "biblical" story that the jews are the chosen people was made up by THEM. It's a crock and alarming that so many Americans believe it, as they believe many of the fabled stories in the bible. Religion is behind most wars. Hate, racism, bias, "them vs. us", greed, supporting war (especially illegal wars) is everything Christ was NOT about. It is more important to PRACTICE the teachings of the 10 Commandments - which is incorporated is almost all religions - than it is to attend church, pay tithes and preach the bible. Actions will always speak volumes over words.

A rule of thumb all Christians should ask themselves: What would Jesus do?

---

Let's see if McConnell and Mullen can hold off Cheney and Israel. The US is bankrupt, our soldiers are spent, and it would be another illegal war against Iran (for OIL, not security). The BIGGEST reason to avoid an attack on Iran is that this would probably set off WWIII and bring in Russia and China.

Good story, Gregory! I find it amazing, and hope that this is true as I really thought they were itching to attack Iran. I also thought they were itching to use those big toys they haven't gotten to play with for 50 years! Whew!

I do not consider it sexist. Sorry. As a woman I find no offense in it.
I have 2 tits Shawn and I feel pretty good about them and like the word.
It seems to me that once our culture gets over our self-hatred, sex will not be so taboo. I am a woman without much shame and I will talk straight and I am not politically correct. I also use the word ass and jackass. The PC thing just doesn't work for me. You can change what I said to a PC term in your head if it helps. I won't convert to PC ever. I'm a big fan of George Carlin. :)

There is no doubt in my mind that the Middle East will begin a Nuclear war. And, naturally, we will have to engage. Vice presidential Candidate for the Republican Party, Sarah Pallin, stated in her speech at the RNC that the McCain Administration intends on rebuilding Nuclear arms. Scarier than her smirky attitude in the statement was that she was cheered on by her Republican Party. I have no dobt that John McCain will engage our Troops in more war and utilize Nuclear arms when he feels the need. They never mentioned Education, Poverty, Health Care for all Citizens, Pro-Choice - they stayed on a platform of militant words that borderlined continued facism.

putting things into proportions...I REALLY HOPE that no nucs will ever be implemented anywhere in the world, but Israel MUST defend itself. The Iranian president DID STATE TIME AND TIME AGAIN that it is his intention TO DESTROY ISRAEL, TO WIPE ISRAEL FROM THE MAP. I am sure that if any country larger than the U.S.A let's say CHINA or the RUSSIA, will state that its intention is to WIPE THE USA FROM THE MAP, the U.S. will never stand by, do nothing and say it will never use nuclear arms to stop its own destruction.
