I have cried so much for the people and animals in Haiti; I made a donation...
My tears don't do them a damn bit of good; I hope my prayers do.

Heart breaking images. I cannot imagine how these people will recover even when the devastation is cleared. We have a hard time looking at these images. These poor people lived these images. God help them as we do all that we can to help.

It infuriates me that the likes of Pat Robertson stated that the Haitians brought this destruction upon themselves. Those that continue to be rescue give their survival to God. Robertson and Rush our ignorant, brain dead profiteers of death, gossip and hate. Vengence is mine saith the Lord and I will repay.

Thank you friends!

I feel helpless too, but I can't stand myself if I'm not doing what I can...

Feeling helpless doesn't cover it for me...frustration, angst, concern. I just want to put my arms around these kids.

Whew! Those images are grim but real. I started a clothing/food/toiletries drive with my friends for I was happy to hear that they are actually getting their food/supplies to the people that need them. They say they just wish more people were donating. I urge everyone to find a group in your community who is taking supplies to Haiti & to donate anything you can. Get some friends to contribute. Thanks!

Oh my God!! What a sad situation Haiti is in! I feel like my hands and legs are tied as I sit so far away, in a comfy chair reading this on the net instead of being of some help. The pictures make me feel helpless. I just pray that God be with them and get them to see better times, sooner than soon..God Bless.

The cautioning of viewers discretion is necessary! Good thinking Dee!

Thank you. It is good to be informed of what happened there. Caution to those who may not be able to view some of the graphic photos. Big THANKS to all of the wonderful people who try to educate the world to what has happened and to those wonderful volunteers who give so much of themselves to try to make things a little better.

I could only look at a few of the pictures. I can't even imagine living through this when I can't stand to even look at pictures of the destruction and heartache...

Thank you Dee, Joanna, Ben and everyone else that is trying to help Haiti. I think it is important to keep helping because the need is so great and will be ongoing for years to come.

I've looked at several images but the water works have started, I've already made donations to help these people and will make more. I'll note this posting and go back to it again thank you for sharing this. These images speak for themselves.
