An Indian court has upheld a tax department demand for the mobile phone giant, Vodafone, to pay a 120bn rupees ($2.6b; £1.7bn) tax bill.

Sounds like someone is skipping out on a tax bill.
You got to tie up the loose ends on those contract agreements.

It does show an arrogance on the behaviour of these conglomerates to think that their dealings are beyond the remit of the specific Countries from which they make their profits.
