I'm really impressed with our technical abilities. So, if we can invent all of this, why can't we save our world? Companies all over the world are inventing these little items for the military, so when will they begin to work to save our planet?

wow, aren't we humans ''clever'' ! While "Earth is Burning" -- ~1000 species/week going extinct, humankind facing probable extinction within a couple of centuries -- some profit from developing and others play with their Toys of Mass-Destruction ....
clever?? or is it neurotic + (utterly) insane ?

One would think they would use their heads and money to develop a good cheap way to produce clean sustainable energy instead of killing machines.
