Honestly I was shocked. I thought Norway was more modern and more civilized. It was so cold there. Cold in all respects. We stayed in a very small village, with only two supermarkets. And you had to carry all the heavy groceries back, on your own feet.

Sjøvegan refugee reception center has self catering. Residents get 3,000 kroner a month (400 euros), but must buy and cook food themselves.

“- The food! It was the biggest problem. It was neither organic or natural.” …

So Aisha said goodbye and left, and withdrew her asylum application. Including the journey back home she received 20,000 kroner from the Norwegian state, through the organization International Organisation for Migration (IOM), which distributes repatriation of money on behalf of the Norwegian authorities.

Anyone traveling home from a reception center before they have been rejected can get this amount in travel support.

Back in Dubai, she could finally return to the life she was accustomed to.

“- We have a completely different lifestyle here in the Gulf. We live a life of luxury here. The main thing I learned after the stay in Norway was that you are not any richer than we are here.”

So, it is too hard to carry your own shopping and it is cold.

I think that says it all about most of these "refugees".

Live in Small town MN. Every week, of not more, I walk to grocery store, and walk home with groceries. Usually two, sometimes four, bags and Not light weight. Ever carry a gallon of milk, a pail of ice cream, a large bag of unpopped popcorn, plus butter, ONE trip? I did three weeks ago. No help, no complaints, no whining. This woman needs a reality check when it comes to the way of life for the majority of the world. I also have to walk in cold, heat, humidity, rain (if mist or just stay home), snow...Have no sympathy for her!

What a load of crap. Dubai is in the United Arab Emirates. There are no refugees coming from there as there is no war ongoing. The website is only in existence to spread hate against Muslims. This crap does not belong on Care2.

Sue, that's the point. This woman came in pretending to be a refugee and there are thousands like her. If you have read any of my previous articles then you would know that many just throw their passports away and lie so that they can get benefits and a free home because the Europeans are stupid enough to give it to them.

no surprise there, Europe is letting in too many bludgers and islamists (which could be one and the same)

there are always some deadbeats. This is like the story of" the welfare queen" only now she wears a burka. sounds a bit like propaganda to me.

There's always one bad apple. I doubt she would be typical of many other refugees, so what's the point of this article?

They are all welcome to Scandinavia.
In the forties, we open the border for the Jews.
Previously we were the boat refugees and emigrated to America
So what do you mean, PENNY do you not understand that this is a part of evolution, this is a way of nature to mix genes, otherwise it would be inbreeding everywhere.

Can understand the cold would be difficult to adjust to, but complaining about carrying groceries seems a bit much.

Inge. If you believe that the influx of tens of thousands of Muslims is going to improve the Scandinavian gene pool, you are in for a massive shock.
Mark my words.

Oh poor entitled refugee. I'm sick of hearing stuff like this, frankly. Complaining about the cold, maybe. Complaining about ANYTHING else when they didn't even have to take you in? Repulsive!
