It is rather difficult to get away with killing 1.5 million innocent civilians without lies and cover-ups.

It is time this stuff started coming out. Everybody knows it's happened, but there's been very few who have admitted to it. We are a bunch of blood-thirsty warmongers committing murder against innocents, and it needs to stop. Those Iraqs are people, too....

Wonder what else we will learn in the near future. A lot of truths have been coming out lately. We saw all the wrong things, murder, deceipt, injustice, and whatever other words one may find....what we don't see anymore are principles, morals and ethics.

here have all these virtues dissappeared to? I guess this is what they meant when they say:" If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. Just following blind orders like that, killing innocent people, abusing ones postition and authority.I don't know what to say to such horror.

Happens every day..... saddest part is that we hear about those who do it by choice...when thats a small percentage comapared to the ones that are ORDERED to do it EVERYDAY. Then come home and have to live with it...for the rest of their lives.

Question: Is the U.S. doing more harm than good by our presence in Afghanistan?
If the answer is yes it is time to leave ASAP.

This is what wars are & do! KILL INNOCENT people! Why OH WHY! For the few Evils that wants it all, for POWER & CONTROL over the rest of us! Think about this for a minute! All soldiers much return HOME & all wars come to a STOP! As a human race we are all ONE & all connected, there is no separation amongst all of us! We must respect & protect all life forms with no exceptions! When Evil few does not work for the good of all humanity then we have to stand as ONE together & remove them from this Power & control! Evil KILLS! Love & Truth brings on PEACE!

"You know something is wrong, but you feel that you have to do it if you want to survive, if you want to go home to your family. It is almost like you've been put in a place where you have no choice except to be dishonest. And... I think that's a difficult burden to be placed on people. I don't think it should be placed on people, I don't think that's right."

The people need control of the MIC and stop the brain washing and over training of our kids. My Nephew was kept awake for his first SIX DAYS to break them down and start the killer training. This is totally unnecessary.

"where have all these virtues dissapeared too", I meant to say."

Sandra T. - To works of fiction and very idealistic young minds. Something I rarely point out needs to be said here: THIS IS NOT A "WAR"! It's an (illegal) OCCUPATION! A soldier, despite what we're told about "urban warfare training," is not taught to kill only if he's really, really sure that's an enemy in his sights. First, HE wants to stay alive and get back home. Next, he's taught to "evaluate the situation." If the situation is moving fast and he's not sure, HE WILL FIRE. That's the ONLY way he can be sure that a person he's uncertain of won't kill him. I'm sure it doesn't take long to see a soldier who thought a little too long get killed, and maybe end up wearing the results, maybe spitting pieces of his buddy out of his mouth, cleaning them out of his eyes, having to walk around with blood and bits drying on his clothing, That's one HELL of an object lesson!

Most of these kids, and they ARE "kids" - We Americans keep our children in childhood for an artificially long time compared to the rest of the world - get there with the same Boy Scout morals most decent people who've never been in such a situation have. The "Golden Rule," "gentlemanly behavior" and the like are NOT designed for survival on a battlefield. Kids learn very quickly - they're designed that way, and in survival situations they learn faster. If the people they have to rely on to teach them how to do their job and stay alive tell them to use a throw-down, they'll use a throw-down. Mom, Dad, the preacher, his old Sunday school teacher and the cute little girlfriend with the pink bow in her hair are a long way away. Probably none of them ever find the need to think, "If I kill this guy, I for sure get to walk away from this one. If I don't and I'm wrong, I'm dead meat." And he has a really good picture of "dead meat", in living, and dying, color complete with smells and maybe pre-death histrionics he'll never get out of his ears entirely right in the forefront of his mind. After a very short time all that training gels. He's in a situation, the rifle comes up and the Bad Guy is dead. THEN he gets to think about it. THEN he gets to check and see if what he thought he saw indicating this is an "insurgent" (wrong word: insurgents are fighting against legal authority; we're invaders and occupiers) was right. If not and he doesn't use that throw-down, he might go to prison for his quick reactions and sense of self-preservation. Almost none of this is open battle against an enemy military. That's what armies are designed for. Instead, just like in Vietnam, the enemy looks just like the ones you're not supposed to kill, which is a good way to get killed yourself.

After a time, these soldiers get even faster, and they stay alive, if they're lucky. The emotions don't get engaged until rack time, if then. Or until they get home. A lot of young people just set it aside and try to follow their orders and get home; then they can deal with it. Try to deal with it here and you may never GET home. Especially to someone so young, this is very powerful, the need cover yourself, cover your buddies, and kill the ones you're supposed to kill. As far as they and their superior officers are concerned, a quick trigger finger is a big part of a ticket home and covering your bros, and with identical enemies and non-combatant civilians, developing that quick reaction is a survival necessity. We're built that way, and young people will pick it up faster than someone my age. No doubt it's a reason people my age don't go to battle that often.

"Killing everywhere and anyone for money. Soldiers belong to the lowest of human creatures."

You're talking about mercs, and I agree. For most of my life, mercs caught on a battlefield were summarily executed. Soldiers are young men, and now women, fighting for a country they believe in. For some it's ALSO getting a shot at an education they could get in no other way. For the poor suckers who buy the gov't line, they're also fighting to protect their own. I read something somewhere once that explains a part of this; most soldiers, while they are working for pay, are working for the only employer who can pay them what it would take for him to risk his life: his country, and THAT employer pays him by being the place that gave his family a place to be, provided them shelter so the life he has could get a good start, and it's where he hopes to raise his own children in a place that he loves. Other employers could only offer him money, but a dead man can't spend money. He knows that. He also knows that SOMEONE has to fight when there's a need, and that's the place where it all collapses if he's a thinker. A lot of thinkers don't make it back because of this. In Iraq, the smarter ones have to know that they aren't fighting to protect their own, they're fighting to make some rich people richer. Thinking like that is also not a good way to get home in one piece.

These kids are set up, as always, to take the fall for reacting like survivors while the ones who set it up that way call them "a bad egg" and go home to wealth and prestige. The pressure of places like that on young minds is something maybe most people can't understand, but it always happens. When Lindy whatever and the others were busted for being " isolated incidents of bad personnel" I knew it was military policy designed to humiliate the prisoners. She and those others didn't come up with all that on their own! Except for one sadist who could no longer work in jails or prisons because of his record of torturing people.

Guess I'm babbling. Ralph - please be careful about who you label what, okay? The ones who planned out, raped the young girl Abeer (?), then murdered her and her family to cover it up and went and had some barbeque - THOSE were psychopaths, whether they started out that way or not. Most of those kids are just that though: kids, in a horrible situation that shouldn't exist at all.

The soldiers are, nothing more than killing machines, used for the expansion of personal wealth, by the Elite Few. Wars are no more Patriotic or against REAL ENEMIES!!! They are fought against innocent and mostly UNARMED People!!! How can they, even, be called 'WARS', for they are nothing
but evil invasions and THEFT, of resources of other countries????
