Americans have to pay a small fortune for a college degree these days. But in Germany, tuition is free - even for Americans! Not only is education not free in the US, but it is more expensive than ever - and loan interest rates are far too high.

I understand so much more now about one of the owners of the ALF where I live. Her husband met her while in school in Germany.;

I can remember back when it was cheaper for Americans to pay for airfare, hotel, etc to go to Germany for dental work....sad.
