I recall--"Born Free" and music by James Barry. Thanks Ray. Seems folks have rapidly grown more inhumane!!

I have to say that "Born Free" has got to be one of my all time favorite movies.. What an informative article. Ray, I can't thank you enough for posting it. I only hope & pray that Meru National Park will continue to gain it's momentum & thrive once again. Especially in the Lion department. How sad to read that there ere 100.000 Lions back in Elsa's day & only 2,000 remaining today. I personally would love to go & visit the grave site of Elsa. It makes me so sad to think that it doesn't receive many visitors & that they really do rely on this & the tourism for revenue. It does sound as if there are strides being made & there is hope that this park can & will be what it was in former days! I for one, am holding on to hope in the name of sweet "Elsa".

I too remember reading about Elsa and seeing the movie Born Free. Sure makes me feel old. Time sure has flown and sorry to see that evil killings haven't gotten better. Wish people would stop it. Thanks Ray

The killings have gotten worst, that is the sad part.
