Queenie and many other dogs have endured traumatic heart-failure experiments at Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. These experiments violate the Animal Welfare Act, argues a Petition for Enforcement filed by PCRM with the federal government.

Epidemiological and clinical studies provide better answers for human heart problems. There is no need for this-signed.

This makes me sick to my stomach. And why in God's name are Michigan Shelters giving up former companion animals to experimental labs!? Is there no justice!?

so they tested the dog for human heart faiulre not canine heart failure? I should of given them our dogs when my parents didn't take them to the vet to at least do something. it is the relief they are gone. listening to a dog cough 70% of the day was not fun.

most likely because this petition was old I couldn't find it to sign. Reading this I was appalled that a beautiful dog like this is now dead all in the name of science! this is just another way that humans show they care for nothing else in their quest for knowledge! Growing up I had a Dalmatian named Hazel who was a part of my family till I was 18 years old! so this was especially hard for me to read!
